UNSTABLE [Pico x Reader]

Chapter 2

"C'mon, don't get your outfit dirty so soon." She smirked, making you scoff. "It's about the start, you ready to watch everyone?"
You couldn't help but to squeal slightly, nodding. "Of course- this is gonna be fun I swear-"

Pico looked up at you, chuckling. "Every Friday is always a fun challenge if you sing in it, of course." He smirked. You couldn't help but to feel embarrassed as you forgot he was leaning against the speakers, though, he moved away.

"Ready to lose another round, Keith?" He scoffed in Keith's face, making him smirk. "In your dreams, Pico." He replied, before walking up in front of the speaker, going against Cherry's father.

Cherry counted down, before she started to play the first song.
"3.. 2.. 1.. go!"

She started to swing her head to music as you watch Keith sing against her father.

By the time the first song was in the midpoint, you were already swinging your head with Cherry from how catchy it sounded, smiling as you hummed quietly and memorized the tune they both sang with.

Eventually, three songs pass, and Kieth comes out as victorious. Cherry cheered him on as Skid and Pump step up in front of the speaker.

"They're singing too?" You ask Cherry quietly, and she nods with a smile. "Try not to underestimate them. They're hard to keep up with, Keith would know." She smirked.

Once they were both ready, you and Cherry smirked at eachother as you both counted off the song this time.

"3.. 2.. 1.. go!"

As the first song started, the two kids started to do their dance, and your heart melted. They were just too adorable to bear.
As you and Cherry swung your heads to the song, you couldn't help but to notice Pico staring at you from the sides. You tried not to think too much of it, giving him a light wave.

He smirked, waving back before going back to watching Keith battle the spooky twins.
That was weird.. You thought to yourself.

You could tell that Kieth was obviously struggling to keep up with Skid and Pump's tricky twists and turns, but eventually he caught up and beat them in their first song.

As the next song started, though, you couldn't help but to be curious of Pico's skill. Maybe you should go against him?..

You shook your head, swinging your head to the beat as you watched the spooky twins and Keith battle it out in the spotlight.

Soon, after a tough and close battle, Keith barely won against them. You smiled, they still did great otherwise.
But that was when they walked off, and then Pico came on the stage.

You were about to watch Keith and Pico battle it out like it was gonna be a bloodbath.

You smiled, seeming more confident as Cherry let you count down the music this time.

"3.. 2.. 1.. go!"

Pico hasn't even said the chorus yet, and you already look impressed with him.
He was so powerful and strong with his words, pretty confident of his victory.
But so was Keith.

You swung your head as you watched Pico battle, but then you frowned.

In the rounds, Cherry cheered on Keith, and her mom cheered on her father. Of course, the spook twins cheered on eachother.

Why wasn't anyone rooting for Pico..?

You stared at him as he sung his words with power. You bit the inside of your lip as you took a deep breath.
During the song, you called out to him.
