With mind and heart
Without body and soul
You're a fitting piece
That doesn't make me whole.

Precious moments filled with knowing
And others leave me clueless
Time is third wheeling us
But history won't make us confess.

You're so plain and I am hurting
Your appreciation makes the desert bloom
Partly and in secret places
But it remains the empty room.
I love you anyway
You're a rope I am tied to
Only within miles I recognize me
Us is from a short cord and
My individuality tries to break me free.
I love you anyway
To the moon and back
So I can go lost
Up in thoughts along the way
And meet you back
At the ground one day.
