My Beautiful Flower (Kaoru x Reader)

Chapter 1: Searching for Haruhi

     You stride onto the campus, excited for your first day at the prestigious academy. The first impression of the school was that it's pink, how strange. Although you were thrilled because of the many clubs Ouran had to offer, you were mostly happy about the fact that your dear friend, Haruhi, went here.

"Ok (Y/N) you can do this!" You say with determination. It has been a year since you have seen Haruhi and you hope you two can be as close as you once were.

     You walk into the school and grab your schedule. After putting your things into a locker, you enter the assigned classroom and see a boy who looks somewhat like Haruhi. You just ignore the coincidence and walk up to the teacher.

"Class this is our newest student, (Y/N) (L/N)" your teacher says and points to a seat next to the boy who looked like Haruhi. You walk over to your seat and sit down, making eye-contact with the familiar boy. A few minutes later, the boy scribbles on a piece of paper and discreetly slides it onto your desk. The note says:

Meet me after school at the courtyard

     You reread the note, deciding on what to do. You didn't even know his name, let alone want to meet him somewhere privately. After considering the many positive and negative outcomes, you hesitantly nod your head in agreement.

     After class, you find the courtyard and the boy waiting patiently. You walk up to him and he smiles, making you feel odd seeing as how you have never met this person before. "Hi, (Y/N)" the boy says smiling, "Now before you freak out, please let me explain. I'm Haruhi!" You are speechless and finally manage to ask why she was in a boys uniform.

     After letting her explain the whole situation, you laugh as she tackles you into a hug. This made you happy because you had rekindled with your bestfriend.

     You and Haruhi walk to your next class, but Haruhi stops you before entering.

"I want you to meet a few of my friends. I have to warn you though, they can be a bit... Obnoxious." You roll your eyes and open the door.

"How bad can they be? I had to put up with you for years," you joke as Haruhi lightly punches your arm.
