Anniversary 

As I woke up to his side with his arms around my waist I couldn't help but just stare at him

"I love you Manuel" I said to my surprise he smiled big and in that moment I knew he was awake

"I love you more amor" he said as he kissed my forehead

He pulled me on his lap and I laid my head on his chest and he just played with my hair , we laid there for a couple of minutes till his phone started ringing and he answer , his face changed quickly as his blood boiled I could just tell something was up. I got off him and he got up and grabbed a shirt throwing it on grabbing his gun and jeans. I sighed and he looked at me. I'm guessing he forgot what today was.

"Que pasa amor" he said as he got down to reach my level

"Nada" I said as I just stood up from the bed and walked past him

I heard his sigh and the door open and close and that's when i let the tears I held come out ...
