trouble from the start

Chapter 9

Luna's POV:
the next morning I woke up in Pony's arms and I tried rolling away from him without him and I failed. I didn't really mind that much but I needed to get up and get dressed, and so did he. Me, Riz, Dally, and Ponyboy are gonna go hang out for a little bit and maybe go to the drive in later. We'll probably run into Cherry which should be interesting. I set up out of Ponyboy's grasp and start poking his cheeks. "hey. hey. hey." I was trying to annoy him so he'd get up and to my luck I didn't wake him up I woke Riz up and she yawned and rolled over to face Dally. "nope nope nope. get your little ass up right now." I grabbed her by her ankle and began pulling her off the couch. she woke up and immediately put her arms around Dally holding on to him so that she wouldn't go off the couch. Dally is a heavy sleeper so this could help get him up to. I keep pulling till I pull Rizzo off the couch and Dally falls off with her, landing on top of her and he finally woke up. "Dally get your heavy ass off of me!" she said trying to push him off "no you just called me fat so I'm just gonna lay here and go back to sleep." Dally said looking up at her. She pulled the ol' puppy dog eyes out on poor Dal and he gave in. "fine, dammit Riz. you and your stupid puppy dog eyes." he said rolling his eyes and helping her up. "what's with all the yellin'? I'm tryin to sleep guys." Pony groaned "yayy you're awake!" I yelled as I looked at him "not for long." he said rolling back over. "nope get your lazy ass up." I said shaking him "do it man, before she drags you by your ankle." Dally laughed trying to act serious, Riz just shot him a dirty look. Pony shrugged. that little butthead "or I'll just break up with him, and go date someone else." I said seriously even though I'd never do that. "okay okay I'm up." he groaned standing up. "yay!" I said standing up and well, Dal and Riz were setting on the couch talking about some party at Bucks and why she couldn't go. Pony leaned in to kiss me. "woah, morning breath go brush first." I said pushing him back alittle. he rolled his eyes and went into the bathroom and started his shower. "so where to today?" i asked, turning Dally's and Riz's attention to me and knocking them off of whatever planet they were on in that moment. "uhhh, i don't know, what do ya think Dal?" Riz asked. "idk yall up to a movie and I bite to eat, I'm bout starved man." he laughed alittle, and Riz just shook her head along. "okay that sounds good I'll ask Pony when he gets out. about 10 minutes later Pony walked in and sat down beside me. "bite to eat and a movie sound good?" I asked. "I'm down for anything." he shrugged. we all got up, Soda and Steve were at work, Darry went out to do something manly and Two-bit went to hit on girls at the lot. "let's get oughta here." I said and we walked down the stairs onto the street.

Riz's POV:
"what movie we gonna catch?" I asked it had been silent for a couple of minutes and I can't stand awkward silence so I decide to make it more awkward with awkward questions. "i don't know man, I might skip out and go to that party at Bucks." Dal said wrapping his arm around me and taking a puff from his cancer stick. I rolled my eyes and removed his arm from around me. he brings up the party that I'm not allowed to go to because "Buck's got it bad for me" he knows it pisses me off. I'd never go for that jackass so I don't see why he doesn't trust me "kiddin babe." he said putting his arm around me. "better be, you ass." I said leaning into him with my arms crossed "I like your as-" Dally went to say before I heard a girls voice that wasn't Luna's. "well well well." the snobby priss said in her squeaky little voice, I guess we were all too caught up in conversation to notice her walking our way. "if it isn't the biggest bitches of the year." she crossed her arms and popped her bony chicken hip out to the side. "hey Cherry!" Luna said in an over exaggerated voice. "you look different.." I said looking at Luna. "I know right? I just don't know what it is.." she said acting like she was thinking really hard. "I know what it is! did you get your eyebrows done?!" I asked pretending I like thought I knew the answer. "no." she said coldy. "ohh you really should." Luna said with a hint of attitude and her southern accent popping out. "oh shut it you know exactly what you two did! you snuck in my room last night and did THIS to my hair!" she screamed pointing at the rats nest on top or her head. I gasped in offended way "us?! well I'd never do such a thing, Luna she just blamed us for that!" I acted mad and said looking at Luna who was next to me. "well to be fair it's never looked better." Luna smirked "it was you two and I know it!" she yelled back at us. "proof?" I asked popping my hip out. "well no but-" she went to speak and Luna cut her off. "well we have to go but when you find out who did that tell them to meet me, I wanna give them a high five." she said as we all walked past her, her mouth gapped open. "close your mouth or you'll catch flies." I yelled back to her without turning around. we heard a loud huff of air and she stormed off. "it was yall wasn't it." Dal said with his arm around my shoulder still. "yep." we both smirked and gave each other a high five. "nice work girls." Pony said pulling Luna in closer. "thanks Pony." she smiled leaning into him. "it was worth it forsure." I said "oh-ho yeahh." Luna said laughing. I don't think we will have to put up with Cherrys bullshit anymore.
