I wached Aphrodite as she stared out the window. She did that alot, now that I think about it, but never knew why. She seemed to be looking at something, and whatever that something was, was obviously interesting.
"Aphrodite?" I whispered into the darkness/
"Hm?" She turned around to look at me, still laying in my bed. "What's wrong Athena?" My sister silently walked away from the windown and back to the bed.
"What were you staring at?" I asked her once she was back under the covers with me. She was brushing back my hair with her fingers, and I looked up at her, hoping that tonight, she would finally tell me the answer I was seeking for, after all these years.
"Just the moon. It's so pretty tonight don't you think?" She grinned sweetly.
"Mhm." I stared up at her, confused. This was her exact answrr every night. But I didn't think anything of it back then, I was so young. So instead of questioning further, I snuggled into her and fell asleep at the soft movemets of her hand through my hair.
