You are at the airport, with all your stuff. At least all the important stuff, it all fit in one suit case, the suit case wasn't even that big. That wasn't important, anyways the move was almost instant, from America to Japan somethings you didn't get to pack. You look up to see your Father, Kesihin Ukai. He's okay but you never liked him since he left your mother when you were little. You were an accident, a one night stand in high school, no one told you that, but you knew you were and accepted it.

"𝓵𝓮𝓽 𝓶𝓮 𝓼𝓽𝓪𝔂, 𝓶𝓾𝓶 𝓹𝓵𝓮𝓪𝓼𝓮"

"Hey kid" Calls out your dad, you just look up "You must be so tired from that long plane trip" grabbing your one white suitcase. You were tired, but you continued to look forwards, you still don't like your father, leaving you and your mother made a big dent in your opinion of him. "Look I'm sorry, it was a pretty sh:t move to leave you, I was young, but I'm here now, let's repair our relationship," sighed Ukai.

"𝓭𝓸𝓷'𝓽 𝓴𝓲𝓬𝓴 𝓶𝓮 𝓸𝓾𝓽, "

Getting to his yellow car, packing in your bag, getting in the back, "Now a one way trip to Miyagi!" Ukai chuckles at this, rolling your eyes, you turn back to the window. "You will be going to Karasuno, I coach a volleyball team there, they're all nice kids y'know, you'll make friends easily," continues Ukai, "He doesn't even know anything about me, nothing!, I had to leave all my friends, that was my senior year I was looking for to it." You think to yourself. "Why me" for the rest of the trip "home" you continue to think until you eventually fall asleep.

As you open your eyes you arrive at a shop, the sign on the shop it read "Sakanoshita Market". "Home sweet home," Ukai smiles, turning to you "This is where you will be staying from now on," the shop looks quite humble, not that big but still not small, a nice backyard. The name of the shop is after your grandmother's name, weird he didn't use Ukai. As Ukai is a famous name around the Miyagi prefecture, for bringing the Karasuno Highschool Volleyball team to nationals.

"𝓦𝓱𝓪𝓽 𝓭𝓲𝓭 𝓘 𝓮𝓿𝓮𝓷 𝓭𝓸!!"

You reach a small bedroom at the end of the house part, even though it was small it was still bigger than your old one in the US. "What do you think," said Ukai as he leans on the door frame of your room, "It's nice I guess," you finally respond, looking up at your absent father. Nearly looking shocked, he laughs to himself, "I guess I haven't heard your voice in a while," ,you think to yourself "A while is an understatement,"

"𝓘 𝓭𝓸𝓷'𝓽 𝔀𝓪𝓷𝓽 𝓽𝓸 𝓵𝓮𝓪𝓿𝓮, 𝓹𝓵𝓮𝓪𝓼𝓮"

"Get ready to start school in two days, you will make friends easily," said Ukai to you, turn to him you ask "Did mum tell you why I came to Japan," as you fiddle with your fingers. "She told me that you wanted to live with me," cheers Ukai, "I found it weird, 'cause we haven't never talked, why," asked him. Looking up at him, trying not to cry "She actually, kicked me out..." collapsing on to the bed, "I wondered if she told you the reason, but it was sudden, I don't know why" you start crying, not wanting comfort, you hate crying in front of people, getting their pity, it sucks, but this time you just had to, it was too much. "Oh, oh kid, I- I don't know- come here," Ukai, a little taken back by the sudden burst of emotion, pulling you in to a tight hug.

"𝓝𝓸, 𝓝𝓞 𝓘'𝓶 𝓷𝓸𝓽 𝓶𝓸𝓿𝓲𝓷𝓰 𝓽𝓸 𝓙𝓪𝓹𝓪𝓷!"

After a while, wiping away your tears Ukai, get up holding his hand for you ,"Come on, let's have dinner, you must be starving by now," you get up and follow him down to the stairs, to a table, getting out two pieces of bread and putting them in the toaster, "Sorry, for nothing big, didn't really think I would be eating with anyone," he looks at you, this sad child, then realising you weren't a child. You were actually quite tall, and you were 18, last year of highschool. As the toast pops at he snaps back to reality, placing the bread on two plates then spreading butter on the piece, then jam. Handing one piece to you, you just stare at it not wanting to eat. Ukai looking over with the toast with half in his mouth, "Why aren't you eating, are you not hungry?", he asked, "Uh I just don't feel eating, " still not releasing your view from the food in front of you. "You gotta eat something, come on just one bite, is something," Ukai begs you to eat, "I guess I'll have a bite," taking a bite, then another of the toast, "I will head up to bed now,", "Okay, have a great sleep, we will probably go out tomorrow, so yea, good night, Y/N", "Good Night," you smile at Ukai.
