'Come with me! I have back stage passes'. They said. 'It will be fun!'. They said.
To put it lightly, this was the furthest thing from fun to her. Don't get them wrong; they loved the music. But given she could barely fucking hear it and that she had been cramped into a tiny poor excuse for a backstage area with barely enough room to breath, yeah no. Not great. Whatever friend had promised tonight was going to be a 'fun night' had left them alone to die 20 minutes ago (..they might be timing it-). Atleast there was booze-
Like clock work, she checked the time. And again, just like clock work, they would stand up after doing so and get another drink. During this time she watched people file out of the 'exclusive room', soon leaving Zae alone- watching the realization on their faces that they had wasted their money was priceless... or maybe it was just the alcohol making her act like a masochist. Probably a combination of both.. she took a sip to contribute to it more.
Alright. 70 minutes of waiting and 6 drinks down did not make her friend materialize out of thin air. Big surprise. What a great fucking night. Coulda just bought her own normal tickets and have a great time. Maybe she could've even been touched on the hand in a crowd wave by Mr. Tamino himself- that's what all the fan girls these days liked, right? They managed to push themself out of the leather chair that they had practically swallowed her whole, spilling whatever alcohol she still had on her skirt. Mhm. Mhm. Great night. Great fucking night.
If she was stuck in this stupid room and longer their head might explode. Clutching the cup to contain the sliver of anger inside of her; she stuffed her other hand into her pocket and stormed to the door. Grumbling something under her breath, she didn't notice it open with a start. Only noticed when she ran into someone's chest, drink launching up into the air in a blind fury, and then crashing down on the both of them. This was the final straw for the night.
"What the fuck is wrong with you-" they snapped, glaring up into their eyes, seeing doubles because of the alcohol. Loosely curled black hair framing a pale face that looked confused yet equal glare back. After her drunken gaze calmed down, she blinked, immeadiately confused. A poster behind the stranger seemed to pop out-... with the same face as the one before her... and tour dates beneath.
Oh.
Oh.
Shit.
