Louis POV
"I'll be home soon darling I promise"
I smiled "ok I love you"
"I love you too"
I hung up the phone and continued to watch my movie.
It was almost over when I heard rain hitting our roof, I didn't mind the rain. But I hated thunderstorms.
And just my luck it was a thunderstorm. The wind blew through the trees and I heard the rumbling thunder.
My heartbeat caught in my throat as the thunder got louder and the lightning got brighter.
I got up from the living room and ran to our room as fast as I could.
I sat in the corner of our room, tears streaming down my face.
Harry wouldn't be home for hours and I felt like I was going to pass out.
I ran back to the living room to grab my phone before coming back and sitting in the corner again, rewrapping myself in the blanket.
I clicked his name. "Hi love" "H-Harry the storm-" I trembled.
He cut me off "I know I'm almost done"
I hung up and burried myself further into my knees.
Harrys POV
I felt really bad that I had to work late, I knew how scared Louis was of storms and I wanted to be there to help him.
I finished up my papers as quick as I could and hurried out of the office.
I drove home as fast as I could, speeding a little.
I ran from my car to the house, not caring if I got wet.
I ran to our bedroom to see Louis under the blankets trembling every time the thunder boomed.
"Oh Lou" It hurt my heart to see him like this.
I crouched down to his level and hugged him as tight as I could.
"Oh don't cry, I'm here now" I wiped his cheeks.
He buried his head in my neck and started to cry harder.
I picked him up and placed him on our bed, softly kissing his cheeks.
I got out of my wet clothes and changed into soft pajamas.
Louis instantly cuddled into my side and I held him until we both fell asleep.
