Equals: An Ochako x Bakugou

In UA there was a shared knowledge amongst the students and staff. Some learned this first hand, others by simple observation. And that is Katsuki Bakugou has only one equal. His girlfriend, Ochako Ururaka. 

Now, many at first glance would think it strange such an abrasive young hero like Katsuki Bakugou to be acknowledging a soft, pastel young heroine like Ochako Ururaka. But their appreciation and respect for one another is not so strange to others. Especially if they remember the UA Sports Festival.

Many at the time believed Katsuki Bakugou was brutal. Unheroic. Merciless. But both Ochako and Shota Aizawa, their teacher, knew the truth. Katsuki was showing his respect for Ochako by continuing to fight her until she couldn't anymore.

However, many question how they became such a pairing. Now that is an interesting story indeed.

It was the day after the festival and our favorite blond could not stop thinking about a particular rosy cheeked girl. She flooded his mind like a broken dam. He, however, thought nothing of it. Believing it was a simple reaction to the fight. But as time went on it became more evident. He wanted to be more than her friend.

Now, it was at the same time that Ochako had fallen for a particular bunny boy. Being blinded by his good qualities she could not see his bad ones. And so she shot for his heart and missed.... Constantly. It wasn't until months later that she had given up. Throwing herself into her training she failed to realize another was vying for her hand. Though one could see that during their out of school training was more than that. He was flirting. Very poorly flirting.

Sadly, it wasn't until the end of their first year that Miss Ochako Ururaka had recognized her feelings of fancy for a loud, explosive, and brash individual. And like the patient and loyal young man he was Katsuki Bakugou had waited for her. But of course one can only wait so long before they burst at the seams to share their secret. And shared he did.

It was just after lunch when Katsuki had taken Ochako away from the bustling crowd of students heading back to their respective classrooms. It was there outside, by the entrance to our prestigious school hidden by the trees that Katsuki very poorly made a confession. And in turn Ochako did too.

When they returned smiling side by side it created a very quiet uproar. But many learned quickly that the Bakugous were not a force to reckon with.
