Erwin Is Plotting

Minutes have passed and the girl was still wandering around the castle halls, she had walked pass Eld earlier and the guy had asked her on how she was feeling. She didn't wanna go outside either, something inside her head is telling her to wander more inside the castle as if something's gonna happen. 

Earlier when she woke up, there was this strange feeling of her knowing this place deep down, it was all familiar but new at the same time. She halted her steps as one door caught her attention, she furrowed her brows.

'Should I come in?' She looked around, the halls were quiet. No one's gonna catch her entering unpermitted spaces, right? They were all busy doing their parts, she smiled. Opening the door to see big shelves and stacks of books on one corner, the closed spaced being pigsty. Dirty fabrics scattered around the floor, an old antique desk on one side with unkempt stained papers probably belonging to the old people who used the castle as their old base. She stepped in, closing the door behind her, wandering around, her shoes getting covered with dust with each step she takes.

It's really dusty in here

She walked over the desk, looking at the olden stack of papers that has caught her attention, everything has been tranquil eversince she let Eren do her chore. Henceforth she had nothing to do, taking those paper at hand she began reading them one by one.

The papers held names she didn't know and a few pages were smudged making it unreadable and just plain disastrous, after a few seconds of trying to read a little more of it, she gave up and walked towards the dusty bookshelves. Taking one of the books out of place her heart raced as she screeched dropping the book before running towards the door, closing it behind her with wide eyes

That did not just happen...

She took deep breaths, the feeling of the cockroach still tingling her senses as her chest rose and fell over and over again for a few times before actually wiping her arm with her sleeve

NO WAY IM COMING BACK THERE, THERE'S A LOT OF ROACHES

Unbeknownst to her the commander is just a few doors away walking towards her direction thus, he saw everything that went down. Especially how distraught the girl was

"Seen a ghost?" Y/n turned her head, turning red out of embarrassment.

"Commander," She cleared her throat regaining her composure. She saluted to show respect

"You haven't asnwered my question Y/n." She could tell Erwin was trying to be civil, holding back laughter to save her from furthermore embarrasment

"That was nothing." She answered, lowering her hand from her chest, holding the doorknob behind her like she doesn't want whatever was in there to come out

"Very well," Erwin smiled. "Move aside." He took the knob as the girl stood aside, conflicted while he was about to turn it

"Commander,"

"What is it?" Erwin looked at her, e/c orbs asking him not to open that door

"...roaches." She whispered,

"Roaches?" Erwin pieced the puzzle together. Looking amused he took his hand away from the knob, looking at the girl with disbelief. "You're scared of insects?"

"Not really." Her voice cracked,

"Then I'll open the door." He said amused, trying to get a reaction out of her. "What are you even doing here, I thought all of you are on cleaning duty for the whole day." He turned the knob once again as the girl sprang in action

"WAIT." She sounded desperate, and out of instinct held Erwin's hand to stop him from opening the door and quietly murmured, "I hate... bugs."

Taken aback by her reaction, he took his hand back looking at her, nobody had ever made such a bold move, not even Hanji despite the things that woman is capable of.  Y/n on the otherhand apologized to him for her actions.

"Why don't you join the others in the hall then?" Erwin smiled. "I'll ask Le- no wait. Why don't you go to Levi instead and tell him I said that he needs to clean up this room?" Horror dawned upon the girl face, the look of disbelief as Erwin did know that she and Levi are known to be quite chaotic, mostly her. And Erwin did know of this, and saw this as an opportunity to atleast make the two if not close, atleast  close enough not to be in eachother's throat

"Bu-"

"It's an order." Erwin furowed his brows to look stern, although in truth he was secretly smiling on the inside as the girl's protest was of no use, his rank was higher than hers which makes it possible for him to ask a lot of people to do things for him in a snap of his fingers.

Some would actually give their lives for him if he only asked for it.

"Okay, okay." Y/n saluted. "I'll find him." She looked grim.

'And it wasn't even on my schedule to annoy you yet.' Y/n thought of Levi, although something inside her did want to see him.

Maybe it was due to the pranks she'd pulled on him?

Who knows?

And with that she turned her back on Erwin.
