The boy entered the college, curious to learn,
He had many big dreams - to achieve and earn.
His college had enticed him with promises,
But little did he knew what's inside the premises.
He sought the welcoming of a free lark,
But was trapped in a dungeon - gloomy and dark.
He thought that it was temporary,
Little did he know that it was compulsory.
That there are no free birds, not even a sky,
Only a dungeon - dark, gloomy and dry.
The pressure and competition killed his imagination,
He even started to worry about his assignment pagination.
Soon his curiosity started to waver,
Thankfully YouTube was a lifesaver.
He was reduced from a lark to a ram,
Shivering with fear when approached by any exam.
He tried to persuade the authorities, but in vain
And he barely lives on, with agonizing pain.
Is this the education system we need?
Where anxiety and stress are the daily feed?
Even Dionysus can't probably make such a satire,
Let alone the mask it dons as its attire.
