Guilt

The moment bullet went through Han Seo, he instantly felt fear and guilt. When Han Seo first came to see him, he refused because he knew it is waste of time, but slowly the boy started to prove him wrong. Han Seo never wanted to win the game or even play it, he just wanted to get out of the mess which his life has been. He just wanted to get away from his terrific brother and live a normal life. So even after saying "no" for first couple of times, he agreed to take him in.

But see what has happened because of it. He let the guard down and let him come closer and it cost him his life. His life was always in danger because of Jun Woo but Vincenzo is cause of his death. He couldn't save him when he trusted Vincenzo with his whole life, and on contrary Han Seo deliberitarly took the last bullet which was for meant for Vincenzo.

Vincenzo have felt guilty for many lives that he took, but this guilt is different, it's more personal.

This is what going through Vincenzo's head when he was sitting in the hospital after taking Han Seo and Cha Young to the emergency room.

He knew that Cha Young wouldn't need much help, she has just injured her shoulder. But Han Seo's life less body is haunting him right now, he already knew that he lost Han Seo in the apartment but still took him to hospital on a last string of hope, but seeing doctor's face has stole that hope too. He now can't play dumb anymore.

Vincenzo was still cursing himself when suddenly a nurse came running from the room where Han Seo was kept. He first thought that she is coming towards him, but she just ran past him and called another nurse. He also ran towards her to ask what is happening but her words made his breathing stop

"It's urgent we need ro type blood in 30 minutes, patient is in critical condition, ask all the blood banks in the city."
