It is your first day at Karasuno high school and you were very nervous. This would be your first day going to high school and it was hard going to a new school because of your awkwardness and social anxiety. You were that one person with bad mental health problems and on top of that your mom had died a couple years ago and because of that your father was abusive and an alcoholic. You didn't have any siblings to worry about tho so to you, that was a relief.
You woke up from your alarm going off at the time you set it to, and sleepily got out of bed to get ready for your first day of school. You got ready and went out of your room to go to school when, enexpectedly, your dad was awake when he is usually still asleep from his aggressive drinking the night before.
"Where are you going you fucking bitch?", he slurs making you want to just die already. "Going to school. I start high school today, remember?" You say back to him, "I bet you are going to be a disappointment there, too." You hold back tears and barge out the door to head to school and get away from him.
You get to school and look at your schedule and start to head to your first class because you want to get there early so you don't have to worry about trying to get through the door with other people at the same time since you were a germaphobe and you get claustrophobic at times. You walk into the class room five minutes before the bell is supposed to ring and you walk in to find another person in there. It's a boy with blond hair that is wearing glasses and has headphones on listening to music. You sit down and five minutes later class starts and you are sitting besides this boy in the back of the class and can't stop yourself from observing his appearance. The whole first period of your first day at school was you observing this boy.
You get through the first few periods without having a panic attack, thankfully. It's now lunch and you are sitting alone until this short boy with orange hair sits down at your table draging a couple more boys with him, including the boy from first period that you found out his name was Kei Tsukishima from the teacher calling attendance. "Hi, I'm Shoyo Hinita" says the short orange boy, "I-I'm y/n" You studder. Shoyo bothers the other guys until they finally give in to introduce themselves to you. "I'm Tobio Kageyama" says one boy, "I'm Tadashi Yamaguchi, nice to meet you!" Says another, "Kei Tsukishima" says the boy from first period. After they all introduce themselves, they start talking about volleyball so you assume that they all play the sport. After a little while, Shoyo out of nowhere, asks if you want to come to their practice later after school but you politely decline and lie by saying you already have plans later. You only declined and lied because you know if you showed up late back home after school, your dad would be mad and yell at you and mostlikely hit you or something. Not saying he wouldn't either way but you weren't going to take your chances.
You get through the day and arrive home to your dad not home and a note on the counter that read, "I will be gone for a month on vacation to get away from your stupid ass. Keep the house clean and don't text or call me no matter what or I will beat your slutty ass when i get back. Do whatever you want just don't annoy me and don't fuck up my house like you do my life you idiotic hoe." You cringe at the note but you're relieved that you don't have to put up with your dad for a whole month. You throw away the note and go to your room to change out of your uncomfortable uniform that you have been wearing all day and go to put something more comfortable on but so you can go out in public in.

You pick out this out fit and quickly put it on. When Shoyo invited you to come to their practice earlier that day you became more comfortable around him and his friends, and he said if something happens to your plans that they practice until 7 pm and school let's out at three and your house is a three minute walk. So you change and head to the gym to watch the practice and when you opened the door to the gym all of the boys stopped to look at you, but the first years, like you, that invited you to the practice walked up to you and greeted you. The short one, after greeting you, introduced you to the rest of the team and everybody seemed nice. After that, they got back to practicing and the team manager walks up to you and introduces herself and asks a question, "Hi, I'm Kyoko. Are you hare to watch the practice?" "Hi, I'm y/n. And yes I am." You said. "Nice to meet you, and sorry if this is so sudden, but if you are interested, we need a new manager for the team. So if you want, you can maybe sign up to be the new manager. I am the manager now but I am a third year and me and the other third years are leaving soon for college and I need someone to fill my spot as team manager, so please, think about it." Kyoko says, you nod and she walks away after complementing your outfit.
After they got done with practice everyone started packing up the gym and started heading home. The first years and two of the second years Nishinoya and Tanaka, started walking over to you. They ask if you want to join them for some meat buns and you agree. You guys head out and get the meat buns and start eating. Everyone was eating quietly until Nishinayo interrupted the silence, "Hey, y/n. You know your body suits that outfit very nicely!" He says, everyone stares at him like they are going to kill him for being a pervert to such a small and cute girl. Tsuki walks over to Nishinoya and hits him across his face and grabs your hand and start to walk away with Yamaguchi following close by. "Pardon that little pervert. Where is your house, we are walking you home to make sure you are ok." Says Tsukishima. You tell him your address and you three start walking in that direction. You are shocked that such a stern guy is being nice you you even though you both know almost nothing about each other. Yamaguchi's house was on the way so when you guys passed his house he disappeared into his house.
When you and Tsuki made it to your house, you invited him in since it was dark and his house was farther away. You asked him in for some tea and he accepted. You guys made it inside and you started up some tea and offered him to stay the night. It was your first day even though it was a Friday, but since it was a Friday you told him he could stay the night and head home in the morning. You told him that your dad was on a business trip and he could sleep on the couch. He accepted and smiled, you were shocked again because of how differently he treated you even though you guys just met, rather than how he treated others. He usually looked annoyed, even with his best friend Tadashi. But with you he was sweet and polite to you. You found it cute tho.
You both finished your tea and went to bed to get some sleep. You said your goodnights and went to bed. You woke up the next morning to Tsukishima still sleeping on the couch. You woke him up and made you two breakfast. You both ate and then Tsuki left to go home soon after that. You said your goodbyes for now until Monday and you went inside to continue on with your day and he went home to do the same.
