Every time I would ask a question , Kaminari would respond, "We don't have time," "Please just be quite."

I should be lucky Kaminari was dragging me. The king would be much harsher with me. After my last conversation with Lord Kirishima, it was no guarantee he would be gentle.

Then the voices came back. But they were angry voices. Screams for justice.

Justice for what?

The tunnels got smaller. And much more decorated. Red and blue drabbles hug from the stone walls, and the gravel seemed to vanish and was replaced with long red rugs. It was clear this was a nicer area of the caves. Possible where the king and his close staff stay.

I wish my chamber was here.

We neared a door and I knew there must be a huge crowd of dragons on the other side. Then I could really hear them. They were screaming protests against the king. Against Lord Kirishima. Against Kaminari.

They were screaming about me.

"Listen, no matter what happens, you must stay silent. Only speak when spoken to. Only reply respectfully."

"But-"

"I said respectfully. Now come on."

The wooden door and I though my ear drums burst. There were so many dragons. All talking over each other. Rows and rows of them yelling at the king. The king that I now looked at differently.

He didn't notice me until Lord Kaminari gave him a subtle wave, and suddenly his red eyes were lidded at my figure. My cheeks flared up as I was pushed along towards his throne.

"There!"

I sucked in my breath. My jaw clenching. Lord Kirirshima nudged me forward bring my face in the light for the dragons to judge.

There were so many of them. All of them blurring together as my word started to spin. Hate was in all of their beady eyes.

"She's stolen our king!"

"To hades with her!"

"Burn her, my king!"

"Silence!"

The kings word was final.

Everyone caught their breath from their roaring, only a few shouts echoing before the deafening quietness of the cave.

"Do you really expect your king to fall to a human? Do you doubt me so that you think I would throw everything away for a silly human girl?"

The king spoke down to his subjects like a father talking down to his children. And just like children, the shame in the dragons faces were unmissable.

"We need her for information. She is under royal protection and that is final. If you are upset then take it up with council members. Your whining is below me-"

"Information? She doesn't know anything. He just wants to keep her around for-"

The dragon could not even finish his sentence, and I could not even identify where his cry of protest came from before the king stood and explosions erupted through the room. Flames surrounded the baloney that over looked the crowds.

I felt I was the only one who screamed. But I could not tell over the ruckus of fire.

I coughed up the smoke, black gas floating from the back of the crowd.

Black and red stains on the floor indicated where the dragon once stood. The smell of burnt flesh tainting the air.

The carven was silent with fear and shock. Heads either turned to the king or to where the dragon once stood.

"Any other protests? Good."

My mouth felt dry. My keens felt weak. The dragon king just did that. The dragon king blew a man up with a wave of his powerful hands. I couldn't believe I stood beside that man. That I longed for his touch and wished he gave me more attention. I knew he was horrible. But I never expected him to kill one of his own.

He is a monster.

So why do I still wish for him to give me a glance?

"Let this be a example," the king declared before he stood him his thorn and his ruby eyes met my wide scared ones.

"Now on to business. You want to know about her? She's just a human. I don't want to waste more of my time on this matter," he ordered before nodding at Kirishima.

I felt his hands wrap around my shoulders and it felt as if the dragons claws were cutting my skin. I hissed in pain and yelled for Lord Kirishima to let me go- but he continued to hold me in place as the crowd of dragons yelled and roared in fury at whatever kind of meeting this was- but my cries of pain were nothing but drowned out.

"I apologize, my lady," Kirishima muttered.

Is he serious? Does he expect me to get over this? How am suppose to forgive any of these bastard after this?

Everything after that seemed empty- I was tossed around to dragon to dragon- all talking in some language I couldn't understand. All I understood that where ever they were taking me- it isn't somewhere good. And fuck them if they think they can kill me.

Why are they even doing this? I was fine moments ago! Then I was brought before hundreds and now- now- oh gods, what would be the point?

"Oh, poor human."

I recognized the dragons voice as I was shoved to my knees. My dress and blood pooling beneath my legs. My tears being held back by the courage to leave this hell hole with some dignity. What ever that dragon king wanted with me- he better get it over with.

I looked up to see him sitting on a throne of bones and gold that shinned in the dim cavern I had been brought to. He sat slouched over, legs spread with his head rested on his fist. And of course, shirtless. Because for some reason he is too good for some decency. If I wasn't pissed at him I would be totally smitten with him.

"Now, I would have you beg for you life for what you made my people think of me, but that would just be no fun. Now, Denki," he turned to the dragon who stood beside him, his yellow hair falling over his eyes.

"Take her to get in a nice dress, would you?"

"Yes, your highness."
