Walking down the long driveway of the Potter Manor wearing some high waisted, white shorts and a pale yellow, no shoulder top, some white shoes on her feet. The July sun in hot on her fair skin as she does so, her hair blowing behind her gently in the soft, warm breeze. After the catastrophe that occurred at the World Cup, Maria had found James and the others, making sure everyone was okay before they all apparated back to the house. It was one of the most awful thing sMaria had ever witnessed, muggle borns and muggles hung upside down in their air, people screaming as there are yells of unforgivable curses and green and red beams of light shooting from people's wands.

Of course, she wanted to save them, all of them. But she couldn't, James had grabbed her arm when he'd found her and the two of them and Lily had ran through the shoving crowds, locating Remus, Dorcas and Marlene under the thick smoke from the fires and then they found Sirius, Peter and Mary, the trio stood with Cecelia who had made sure they where safe before apparating with her friends.

The muggle village is peaceful, its only nearly midday, the clear sky above her a light shade of blue and the old fashioned houses and cottages that line one side of the road have their curtains either drawn back or closed, probably getting a longer night sleep since it's a Sunday. She passes the stone fountain and smiles, seeing the shimmer of bronze and silver coins that the muggle children had tossed into the water and made a wish. There's a small play area with some swings and other things scattered around, the church at the end of the street standing tall, it's stained windows looking darker because of the lights not being on yet. The birds are singing sweet melodies as they hop from branch to branch of apple trees and she reaches a bench where a certain tousle haired boy is sat waiting.

Regulus spots her and smiles, standing up as she grins and runs towards him, wrapping her arms around his neck as she jumps into his open arms, her legs snapping around his torso as she clings onto him, inhaling his familiar cologne and tangling one of her hands in his familiar, messy hair.
Regulus sighs in contentment as he smells the well know strawberry scented shampoo and presses multiple, soft kisses on her neck as he smells the vanilla perfume. His arms loosen as she unwinds her legs and he gently placed her on the ground, tucking a piece of her brunette hair behind her ear and Maria sighs impatiently, gripping the back of his neck and pulling his lips down to her soft ones.

Regulus gets lost in the moment, her soft lips against his and his hands gently on her waist but he quickly pulls away and starts to pull her down the street.

"Where are we going?" Maria asks him inquisitively as she desperately tries to keep up with his long strides.

"It's too dangerous to be in any public space, even a muggle one, these days." Regulus says quietly, pulling them around a corner and into a small, beautiful forest. "I found a place."
