Chapter 12

"Oh..Uh...Uh.. Very good" she said smiling and clapped her hands together, "Thank you so much Roaan..." She said flashing the same bright smile.

"Just Roaan?" He asked innocently.

"Ro-Roaan baby.." she added.

"I know it was a shit...." he said leaving her hands, "No need to act Helly baby..." he completed and Helly looked everywhere but him, only if someone could help her, "...But I..." he continued and Helly looked back at him attentively, "...I love how you respect me" he said and planted a kiss on her knuckles.

"Respect? Indeed" she shrugged her shoulders inwardly.

He then clutched her hands together more tightly, in-between his palm and kissed again but rather a wet one.

Helly immediately jerked her hand out, "Roaan please" she said and wiped her hand with a tissue paper.

"Oh I am so sorry baby" he said and held his ears immediately.
"I can even do ups and downs if you say, or kneel down outside holding my ears, "he said briskly while almost half-seated on his place, as if, if Helly says yes he would run to the grounds and do as required.

"No..No..need Roaan..." She said and Roaan rested himself back on his place, "....Just be careful next time" she added.

"I will" said Roaan.

"Just accept the fact, I am still not completely into this relationship. We are giving chance to each other" she said and Roaan looked down biting his inner cheek.

"I am sorry Helly...." He said again taking her hand in his, ".....It's that I love you so much, that I almost forget, you were brought into this relationship" he completed and Helly felt the pit of her stomach churning again.

"Okay let's not talk about these things, we are on a date. Let's enjoy it" she said pacifying her inner turmoil and Roaan nodded his head smiling.

"Did you tell your parents?" Asked Roaan.

"I talked to dad about this. He even read the article. He trusts me. He said he'll support my decision, after all it's my life" she said and Roaan gave an appreciative nod.

"You see Helly if we ever get married and have kids, I'll be the best father" he said making Helly blush.

"Yeah..okay what do you want?" Asked Helly scanning the menu card again whose ears were now matching the colour of her dress.

"You!" He replied and Helly looked at him perplexed when he broke out into giggle, "oh look at your face" he mocked and laughed out more.

"Not funny Roaan" she hissed when Roaan apologised still giggling.

"Let's order something"  she said dropping away the matter and was about to call the waiter when her already intense looking eyes alomst bulged out from sockets. Her handsome Boss took his steps into the restaurant.

"Oh no!! Boss?!?! He can't see me now"

"Rrahul?" She whispered more to herself and immediately raised up the menu card to cover her face.

"What is it Helly baby?" Asked Roaan and turned around to look around the room when Helly immediately held his hand and pulled him towards her, covering both of their faces.

"You really want to?" Asked Rooan when Helly furrowed her eyebrows.
"What?" Asked Helly when she realised what he meant. She hissed out in disgust, "you are impossible Roaan!!"

"You pulled me!!" Retorted back Roaan.

"My Boss is here..." She informed when Roaan exclaimed out his name, "Rrahul!!"

"...Yes..." She replied whispering. She opened her mouth to disclose her lie to him but Roaan seemed way more excited.

"Would like to meet him!!" he said and put down the cover searching for him, but, before Helly could warn him he called out, "Rrahul!!"

Helly immediately face-palmed the menu card on her face, "What is so charming about him that this man can't resist himself?!?!" She gritted throwing daggers at Roaan with her eyes.

"Here!" He indicated Rrahul towards them and Helly shifted uncomfortably. She turned around on her place firmly holding the menu card and pretended to get absorbed into it.

"Mr. Roaan Regel!" She could hear him say and his smirking face pictured well in her mind. She could hear his footsteps clicking towards them and with each step towards them, made her heart race more.

"Mr. Rrahul Sudhir! How are you?" He asked and both shook hands.

"I am doing great" he responded and his heavy voice made her heart sank more.

"Hi Nia. How are you?" Asked Roaan.

"Nia too?!"

"I am great" Helly could hear her reply with an air of uncertainty which was completely justifiable.

"Does he think himself to be so popular that whole world will know him?!" and Helly pursed her lips in annoyance.

"How are you Mr. Handsome" she heard another voice which she recognized to be the writer's, "Saba?"

"Oh I am all great queen" he said and his words didn't fail to annoy Helly to core, "What a buttering mam!!"

"Nice to meet you Roaan" Helly heard another voice and her already sank heart drooped down more.

"Mahesh Sir? I guess Sidharth is also there. Uhhh!!! I will be exposed in front of everyone. All the appreciation I earned today morning will drain the next minute. No..." Helly's heart started beating hard against her ribs.

"Didn't expect you here Roaan. How is Mr. Saxena?" She heard Siddharth's voice and Helly hit her head lightly against the menu-card.

"I knew it!! I am done"

A/N:- All hopes for Helly of saving herself seems to go in vain. What do you think? Will Rrahul expose her as a liar?
