Stop.. His mind pleaded.
Beignets an' wine under da stars an' moon?
Stop...
Sounds like da perfect date for me.
Please stop....
I love you, Edward.
The images stopped.
The room fell dark, and as the angel turned to Alastor he found his body trembling.
His head was down, upon closer inspection..he could see droplets falling to the floor as the demon let out uneven breaths.
His teeth were bared, and a sniffle let him. His hands clutched tightly as the streams of tears ran down his face.
The angel clicked his tongue, "didn't think demons could cry." He turned away uncaringly. "Well, looks like you aren't lying, but that doesn't matter." He waved his finger around, pointing the sphere at the demon. "I'll confiscate these crystals since they belong to heaven. As for you, well...I'd say you could go to hell, but you can just die."
Tears streaming down his face, Alastor looked up. Anger was now mixed in with the sadness in his eyes. The angel only smiled. "Something to say, demon?"
Alastor's eyes glowed a bright red. "I came here for Anthony." He growled.
The angel's eyes widened as something wrapped around his ankles. As he looked down, he realized they were black inky tentacles.
He looked back at the demon in the chair. The shadow he spotted earlier was effortlessly destroying the metal constraints on his wrists and ankles.
The angel tried to move only for the grip on his ankles to become tighter. He used his wings, flying up.
With a swift movement, Alastor's hand came out, causing another pair of tentacles to rise from the shadows. They latched onto the angel's wrists and forcibly dragged him down.
"I'm not leaving without him." He finished as the angel hit the floor hard. Quickly, he grabbed the crystals from the container, resecuring them around his neck.
His magic was limited, and he felt tired as it was. He wasn't sure this would affect the angel nor keep him down for long.
But as that question crossed his mind, he was already stepping over the angel and out the door, ignoring the creature's demands for him to stop.
