The Spanish Flu started in 1918.
I'm sure everyone knows this, but it was on the document my friend and I share. And it seems appropriate, because we are in the middle of a pandemic. Bonus fact, there's a road in Baltimore, Maryland called "Pandemic Road" because if you got the Spanish Flu, you'd go down that road to get to quarantine.
