While Regulus was ranting, Subaru made his way over to Ram to make sure she was okay.
He put his hand on her shoulder and asked.
Subaru: Hey, Ram? Are you okay? You look really exhausted.
But Ram simply slapped his hand away.
Ram: Disgusting, Barasu. To take advantage of this situation to sexually assault me. Disgusting.
Subaru: Don't make it sound like that! Geez....Well, if you can insult me like that then you should be fine walking back to the villa-
But then, Subaru heard growling in the distance.
Subaru: Actually, we should run to the village....NOW!
With that, Subaru ran towards the village with Rem on his back unconcious, while Ram quickly followed.
They did forget someone though.
Regulus: Honestly, what's with the rush?
He simply started walking towards the village, not even giving the dead Mabeasts a glance.
*later*
Subaru and Ram were running towards the village as fast as they could, one benefit of having Regulus here was that the fight against the Mabeasts was shorter than it was originally, so it wasn't dark outside yet.
Subaru: *pant* Oh...That reminds me....We just left him there.
Ram: Focus Barasu!
Ram was right, it would be for the best to focus on running away from the Mabeasts that were currently behind them.
Then as they continued to run, Subaru started feeling movement on his back.
Subaru: Rem! You're awake?
Rem:....Subaru.....kun....?
Rem was extremely confused, she can't remember much of what happened but she does remember fighting the Mabeasts.
But Rem couldn't think about it for too long, as Mabeasts started jumping out of the bushes infront of them.
Subaru: Crap!
They were forced to stop right in their tracks, they were now surrounded by Mabeasts who were slowly approaching them.
Subaru looked to his allies, Rem was just gaining back conciousness and Ram could proabably use one or two more magic attacks before collapsing once again.
To make matters worse, another Mabeast appeared infront of them, but that one was different. It was the small one....The leader.
The small Mabeast growled and suddenly started growing in size, until it became almost as tall as the trees.
But Subaru once again remembered, he still had one more card to play Regulus Cornea-

Subaru: Oh right. I left him there, didn't I?
The massive Mabeast once again growled and was about to launch an attack towards Subaru, but it's attention was suddenly taken away by an explosion behind them.
About 80-100 meters away from the group was an explosion that launched multiple Mabeast into the air while also tearing them apart.

There's still one problem though, Subaru knows that Regulus won't be sprinting towards them to try and save them, he's most likely calmly walking towards them while killing anything that tries to stop him.
So once the leader Mabeast turned it's attention back to Subaru, it was going to try and stomp on Subaru with it's large paw.
Subaru was ready for this and prepared to dodge the attack, but he was suddenly frozen still by a familiar voice from the sky.
Roswaal: Ul Goa!
Suddenly, all the Mabeasts including the leader Wolfgarm were set ablaze by a magic attack from a certain clown.
Subaru looked up and saw Roswaal floating down towards him.
Roswaal: My~ You don't look too well, Subaru~kun.
Subaru: Wait....I didn't use Shamac....How did you even find us?
Roswaal: Well~ I was simply flying around with no idea where to find you all, buuuuut! It was rather interesting to see a massive explosion back there.
Subaru: Oh right....Him.
With that, Subaru's adrenaline ran out and he collapsed to the ground, but before he fell Ram quickly took Rem off of Subaru's back.
Roswaal: Oh my~ He's a bit exhausted isn't he? I do have a quick question though, Ram.
Ram: Yes, Roswaal-sama?
Roswaal: Where's Regulus-ku-
Regulus: Really? He's taking a nap now? How can someone be so lazy, I just can't understand it.
A white haired man walked towards the group with a displeased look on his face while he looked at Subaru.
Roswaal: There you are, Regulus-kun~ I hope it wasn't too displeasing to had to save my staff, was it?
Regulus: Tch. It was afwul, why was I, a guest! Forced to work to save your staff? Since i'm a guest, should I not have the obligation to save your staff? Actually, where even were you? Isn't this your land? Why is it that a powerless idiot can somewhat contribute to saving the village, while you had been sitting around doing nothing at all? Because you had decided to do nothing at all, I was forced to contribute to the loss of these beasts while i'm a guest at your mansion. You should consider yourself lucky that I even bothered to contribute to the saving of this village. Don't you think that something like that is a violation of my rights?!
