Connor is pretty known for being picked on and not doing much about it, it's pretty much the reason he gets picked on a lot by so many different people. He never did anything about it, never told any teachers, or his parents, and it seemed his friends didn't notice or didn't care enough to help him. Then a new kid comes along and things start to change for Connor

Beep...
Beep..
BEEP
Connor woke up with a startled gasp, he laid there in bed for a moment while his alarm kept ringing. Eventually, with a loud sigh, Connor reached over and pressed the 'off' button on his alarm. Connor slowly sat up and yawned, stretching and pushing himself out of his comfortable bed. Connor didn't bother with making his bed, he didn't really see much of a point. He was just going to sleep in it tonight anyway. As Connor started his daily routine the more he started to wake up, and the more he started to dread going to school. Connor opened his closet and grabbing the first thing that caught his eye, a blue sweatshirt, he used to have a Sonic sweatshirt that his mother bought for him that he'd wear almost everyday with pride. That was, until kids started making fun of him, calling him things like 'childish' and 'immature' so he stopped wearing it. He told his mom that it was because he lost interest in the Sonic franchise. Connor got rid of a lot of clothes that were related to games like Sonic and Mario, he didn't want to seem childish, now he just has a lot of "boring" clothes. Connor also grabbed a black t-shirt and black pants. After Connor got dressed he went into his kitchen for a quick snack, Connor doesn't like eating breakfast so early in the morning. Connor grabbed an apple before taking off to grab his things. After packing his bag he took a few bites of his apple, he felt slightly sick so he threw the rest away. Connor walked outside and locked the door behind him before grabbing his keys from his pocket and starting his car. Once Connor was in his car he drove off in the direction of his school, as the school came into view the dread he felt before came back, just a lot worse now. He got into the parking lot and stopped the car, quickly grabbing his bag and swinging it over his shoulder and got out

Connor stood in the halls of his school nervously, he could feel people staring, he could hear people snickering and giggling behind him. High school sucks. Connor sighed and started to walk down the halls, it seemed the stares got more and more noticeable the longer he walked. Connor found one of his friends and quickly walked to them, "Oh, hey Connor," His friend, Wilbur, greeted with a smile. Usually you wouldn't see someone like Wilbur and Connor being friends, Connor guessed the only reason they're still friends is cause they've known each other for years. Wilbur is, well, popular in a way, he's an attractive young man that isn't an asshole. Wilbur played guitar and sang, pretty well known and respected in the school, and then there's Connor, bullied, no real future, or at least so he's been told. Connor honestly thinks that Wilbur still hangs out with him out of pure pity sometimes. Connor gave a wave and greeted back to his friend, "Hey Wilbur, do you have band practice or are we free to hang out?" Connor asked and watched as his friend's face fell to a frown, "About that- my teacher wanted me to stay and help her teach another class about some music things. Isn't that great? She thinks I'm doing good enough to let me help other kids!" Wilbur said with excitement. "Wow Wilbur, that's great," Connor said with a smile, well at least he also had plan B, go home early and take a nap. Connor felt someone shove him while Wilbur talked with him, he looked over and saw, well you could probably guess, a bully. Wilbur looked over at the person that just pushed his friend, "Can,, we help you?" He asked. Connor didn't dare make eye contact, he kept his eyes glued to the ground. The bully let out a snicker, "He takes up half the hallway, maybe if he were to loose a few pounds we wouldn't have this problem." The bully said, causing a few people nearby to laugh. Connor looked down at himself, he knew he wasn't fat, in fact he liked the way he was, but it still hurt. Wilbur just glared at them, "What the hell is your deal? We were just talking to each other." Wilbur said. "It's fine, they just want a reaction Wilbur," Connor said, he still didn't look up, Connor knew there were probably tears in his eyes. Wilbur looked over at his friend and sighed, "Fine," He mumbled before the bell rang. Connor waved to Wilbur and without saying anything quickly moved past him to get to his first class, while on the way to class he felt another kid shove him into a few lockers, "Watch it." They spat at him before walking off. Connor tried desperately to not let the tears spill, he let out a quiet sniffle and wiped the tears out of his eyes before going back to walking
