BETTY POV
I wake up to the sound of birds whistling and the sun that's shining on my window. One thing I can say about riverdale is that its peaceful to wake up to. When I look at my couch i see the redhead, archie. He didn't leave last night so he slept on the chair, I couldn't help but let out a small smile. I don't wanna wake him but i know he's got to get ready for work and so do I. "Archie" I let out not to soft but not to hard either. He let's out a moan, turns and he falls off the couch. "Ouch" he groans, I wanna say that I was trying to hold back my laughter but i failed miserably. I laughed so hard which made archie stood up, "it's not funny you know, I could be seriously injured" he complains. "I know, I know its not but I couldn't help it" I laughed. "Whatever" he said, "I'm sorry but you have to go get ready for work and so do i" i replied........"oaky meet you down stairs in 20" he said. I just smiled and nod my head, he left and I went and took a shower. Getting ready is normally easy but today for some reason I wanted to dolls up, just a little. Ater 30 mins of deciding what I wanted to wear, i was finally ready so I went outside, only to see archie waiting for me in front my door."I thought I said 20 mins" he signed. "Your time and my time are two differents archie" I slightly smiled. "Let's go" he said. I entered the the truck and we left. The ride to school wasn't awkward or anything, we just listened to music and between, he or I made jokes. On reaching to school, I was about to exit the truck but something stopped me. " thank you archie, for everything. For being the best person someone could possibly for" I sighed.  "No need to thank me Betty, I'm always gonna be here for you, even if you want me here or not" he responded. I let out a smiled and headed to class. His words just somehow give me the hope and courage I need, I need him. Archie and I being friends again should be fun right???

ARCHIE POV
Hearing Betty's word made me blush, I don't know why but, she's just the person that you need to be around when you wanna be happy or forget your problems. I was let out my thoughts when Kevin entered my classroom. "Archie" he said. "Kev, what's up??" I replied. "Nothing, just seeing you in your thoughts had me wondering. Is it betty thoughts or veronica thoughts?" This is truly awkward, I know kevin and I have been friends for long but we never talk about this stuff, trying to avoid his question I just let out a laugh and change the subject. "What no, I'm thinking about how I'm gonna explain to my students that football is supposed to be a passion, you don't just do it because you're being offered money. Anyways what's up?" I said. "You'll get there after all, you're archie Andrew's. I just wanted to say that cheryl bombshell has summoned us to the teachers lounge" he explains.
"At the teachers lounge"
Its cheryl, she's always up to mischief, couldn't stop thinking about what she wanted, until she arrived in the lounge. "Hello former classmates. I'm hosting another party" she exclaimed. By hearing this I didn't have to look at anyone to know that they didn't wanna go. Her parties always seem to bring bigger problems to people's life. Let's see what this one is gonna bring. "I know......... I know my parties are so superior that you can't get over it. The key part was crazy, I did somethings that I............ i think regret so to make up for it, this is just a party for fun, drinks. Just for us to catch up...........probably one or two  games, you never know. Failure to arrive at my party tonight, you'll be seeing me in front your door, don't think I'll be there too talk. For now toodles" she explains and walks off. I glance over to betty, we make eye contact but she immediately looks away. It felt weird but I didn't over think it. This party should be fun right??

BETTY POV
Party at cheryl's never seem to fail of taking a piece of my heart away. As I was walking the school hall I heard someone shout my name, didn't have to look around to see who it was. I could recognize that voice anywhere "betty" archie shouts. I stopped and I turn to look at him, " hey", I shyly said. "Hey, are you going to Cheryl's party tonight" he awkwardly asked. "Maybe, I'm not sure, her parties always leaves me messed up" I replied, making the conversation even more awkward. "Are ......are you going" i asked. "Yeah, gonna let go a little bit. If you're going just tell me so I could" before he could finish, he gets cut off by veronica. "Archiekins" she says rapping her hand around his waist and giving him a kiss on his cheeks. I couldn't help but feel like she's doing it on purpose, does she know about me and archie. What I'm I even saying, what about me and archie, it was just a fling, a get way. Something took over me. "On second thoughts, arch, I'll be there. I'll also invite glen, thinking you guys don't really know each other, maybe you could get to know each other" I smirk, i could see shock on Archie's face, but was it jealousy? I don't really know but I wanted him to feel like I am feeling right now.
"In Betty's room"
Getting ready for parties are never easy but I'm not the much of a sassy girl. My attitude is enough to show that I'm a bad ass, I just put on some light make up and a black dress. I actually like the way it grips my body. I know inviting glen was probably a mistake but I want to see the same reaction on Archie's face, like I did today...........or even worse. Party here I come.
