Chapter 2

Maria's Pov

  " What should we do today? Eric is at work and i have the day off." Donna said

" the mall?" hailey asked

" Rad! i'll call Jackie." she went out to the phone

i rolled my eyes. it's been a few days and every time i try to talk to Kelso , Jackie makes a big deal and they both leave. I can't even be near him cause if i do she freaks out. i don't know whats wrong with her.

" what's wrong?" hailey whispered to me

" i can't stand Jackie. "

" i know but she's Donna's friend so we're gonna have to get use to her being around."

" you know what Hyde told me the other day?"

" what?" she asked

" if you have asked about him since the last time we were here."

" what did you say?"

" i told him no."

  Then Donna came back saying Jackie couldn't come cause she's sick. I felt relieved cause i don't want to be with Jackie.

" how about you invite the guys?" Hailey asked

" there next door. let's get ready first and i'll go ask."

   We all got ready. I was in my Aerosmith shirt we got at the concert and flared jeans with a belt. Hailey was wearing a white blouse that had a knot in the middle and a brown skirt with boots. Donna wore a rainbow stripped shirt and brown flared jeans. We walked to Eric's basement and they kissed hello.

" Hey guys the reason why we came so we can invite you to the mall." Donna said.

" The mall? hot chicks? record stores? i'm in!" hyde said

" hey we can go to the food court? i want a smoothie." Fes asked

" I was with Hyde when he said hot girls." Kelso said

That irritated me a bit

" Aren't you with Jackie ?" Donna asked

" They broke up." Eric said

" How come?" Hailey asked

  Everyone just looked at me and stayed quiet. I rolled my eyes and we all went to the car. At least we don't have to be on anyone's laps this time

(Hailey's pov)

The first store we headed to was the record store. I was looking at them and saw one of The Doors thinking of getting it for Maria for her birthday next week. I got myself The Rolling Stones and Led Zeppelin.  Hyde looks at my records.

  " Hey nice choice. " He told me

" Thanks. Same to you."

He had Queen and Black Sabbath

   " Thanks. Look i'm sorry what happened in the past i want to start fresh. "

" I've been thinking about it and i'll like that very much."

He smiled and went to pay for the records. We all went to the register and we all came out with records except Maria.

" How come you didn't get anything?" I asked her

" Well the one i was looking for someone got the last one."

I smirked knowing that she was talking about me but not knowing that it was me who had gotten it.  We walked around the mall for about a hour or two and we went to the usual spot for burgers . We got two booths, me and maria with Hyde and Kelso on one and Donna , Eric and Fes on the other.

We were eating our burgers when Jackie came in with a dude.

" oh hi guys ." she said while glaring at Maria

" Jesus Jackie we just broke up and you're already on a date?!" Kelso said

" oh please, like you haven't been hitting on Maria this whole time. "

" I haven't "

" Come on Gregg.... let's go somewhere else." Jackie said

" umm my name is Blake."

" i don't care now let's go."

They left and everyone just laughed

" That was awkward." Maria said

" Tell me about it." I told her

" Well i'm gonna go play some pinball." Hyde said

" i'll go watch you." I told him
