eli: I will shove this entire box of pizza up your a-
kairi: okayyyy I think that's enough, have a nice day
guy: you too..
he closed the door and raised his eyebrows at me. we decided to go downtown, kairi hadn't gone ever since he moved back to japan.
kairi: aw, no way! mrs. akagi!
we walked over to her stand, a smile grew on her cute wrinkly face
mrs. akagi: kairi! is that you!
kairi: sure is!
she gave him a hug
mrs. akagi: eli! my, you've both gotten so big now!
kairi: you look as young as ever!
mrs. akagi: oh stop it
we talked for a while, catching up with her and by the end of it we ended up buying some meat buns from her. we were pushing each other, laughing and talking till I bumped into someone
eli: sorry!
kirishima: eli! kairi!
he hugged us both, squeezing us. we hugged him back, it didn't take long until the realization had hit me. if he was here.. that means..
dylan: hey I got those meat buns that you-
we made eye contact
dylan: ..wanted..
I pursed my lips and stepped back a bit
dylan: ah... hey-
kairi put his hand on my waist, making my body face his
kairi: you wanna go?
I nodded. he lead me forward with his hand on my lower back
kairi: we're gonna get going, it was nice seeing you, red riot
kirishima: you too!
dylan: ..
kairi glared at dylan and we walked away
dylan: w-wait!
we stopped walking and turned around
eli: ..
dylan: can we uh.. can we talk..
kirishima gave me a look "come on" it said. kairi and I exchanged looks and then I walked over to dylan
kirishima: uh.. hey kairi, mind walking around for a bit?
kairi: um.. yeah.. sure
they walked off and we sat down at a table under the shade
dylan: so um.. I really just wanted to apologize.. for cheating on you.. breaking the trust we had and for hurting you..
eli: author, can we skip this?
no lol
eli: I hate you
I love you too ~
dylan looked down at his hands
dylan: I really do regret what I did. the way things ended eats at me every day..
I stayed silent and looked at my feet
dylan: are you.. gonna say anything?
eli: ..what am I supposed to say? I cant just "it's fine" cause.. it's not fine.. and I cant just forgive you
dylan: ..
eli: but.. I appreciate the apology, dylan.
