You had overheard Anthony Bridgerton talking about you with his brother, prior to meeting you. While Benedict had deemed you as gorgeous, Anthony only thought of you as "barely tolerable". Now the two of you have been forced to start a conversation.
It was the first time that Anthony joined in to the discussion about love as he asks you now intrigued:
"So what do you recommend to encourage affection?"
It was supposed to be a mocking question at your prior statements, yet you took the opportunity to reply using your wits.
"Dancing. Even if ones partner is barely tolerable."
With a victorious smile on your face you bow and turn to leave. Leaving Anthony's ego in broken pieces as his brother holds back his laughter.
