Zero Tale

As Re:Zero did their cover on Zero's song Dis One, Rei and the rest of Idolish7 were listening to it backstage. Rei felt proud as he heard his song be covered, the song he sang after he proposed to the person he loved.

As he was enjoying, he heard one of IDOLiSH7 members shout, "Shit, the wizard just ran up the stairs." All of them get up and ran after him. Rei thought, "Wait thats not Zero, I'm Zero. I should charge that person with identity theft."

Rei had managed to grab Riku's hand, Riku tried to pull awaya but Rei whispered, "Thats not Zero, I know it."

Riku asked, "But how would you know?"

Rei smiled and said, "Its because I am Zero, sorry for not telling you. I can give you proof if you want."

Riku looked at him confused. Rei told Riku to wait there.

He knew that this was going to happen one day and just incase, he carried his hood and mask everywhere, how? That question will never be answered.

He walked towards the control panel, where one of his old coworkers were at. They looked at him shocked.

"Its been a long time, everyone." Rei said.

The staff just looked at him surprised. "Before any questions, can I join them on stage?" Rei asked.

"But... we need permission from" The staff said before getting interupted by Rei.

"Don't worry, I will take responsibility." Rei said.

The staff nodded and said into the mic notifying Re:Vale about it. They gave the thumbs up and dimmed the lights allowing him to go onto stage.

Rei walked to the middle and sang the chorus, before being joined by Re:Vale.

At the end of the performance, everyone in the audience was shocked. Not only did Re:Vale covered the legendary idol, Zero's song, they were even joined by the idol hinself.

"Hello, it has been at least 15 years since I disappeared from the idol industry. I wanted to spend more time with my family so I decided to leave the industry. I am sorry for that. Today I decided to stand on this stage because Re:Vale dedication lured me here, before I knew it I am stage here with Re:Vale today. Another reason would be because... Lately on the news, there was news about me spraying graffiti... I would never do this. I always hoped for someone to cover my songs. I was happy to hear the cover. I want to thank Re:Vale for covering the song." Rei says as he bows, he continues to say.

"Even though I came back today after 15 years, I would like to say, I am choosing to announce my retirement today, even though that should have been done 15 years ago. Thank you everyone who have been supporting me on my journey." Rei ended his speech, bowed and left the stage.

He sees his son staring at him, along with the rest of his group and Trigger. He walked to the back and removed his mask and smiled at Riku and Tenn.

"Sorry for keeping this a secret."

As Tenn was going to say something, loud clapping could be heard coming from the audience.

Rei smiled and put on his mask again.
"Want to cover dis one with me?"

All three groups smiled and ran to the stage.

That night felt like a dream to some. The legendary idol Zero came and performed and left again.
