Chapter 11 | The Search for Byakuya

"I'd like to think so. But I'm worried something might have happened to him." Taka nervously says.

He didn't have to say anything else. Everyone understood exactly what that might mean...

"I-It might be a good idea if we all split up and go look for him." Makoto suggested.

"Ah! I was just about to suggest the same thing!" Taka shouted.

"Stop trying to one-up e-everyone..." Toko stuttered.

"Okay, then I'll go check his room one more time. I'm just gonna keep on hammering that button till I get a response!" Hina said, determined.

"Very well, then the rest of us can go check the rest of the building." Sakura says.

"Yeah. Before it's y'know...too late." Said Yasuhiro.

Even if I don't want to, we have to do our best to find Byakuya. So where might Byakuya have gone...?

"Maybe he went to go check out the 2nd floor of the school again..." I muttered.

I then walked out of the dining hall and began to make my way towards the 2nd floor. I honestly don't know how I made a wrong turn but now I was standing behind Hina, watching as she banged on Byakuya's door.

"Hey, Hina. Any luck?"

I jumped a bit and turned to my side to see Makoto standing there.

"Jeez, was I spacing out? I didn't even hear him approaching." I thought.

"Nah, it's no use. I keep banging on his door, and nothin'!" Hina replies before turning back to the door. "Come on, already! Open up!" She shouts and continues to violently bang on the door.

"C-Careful! You're gonna bust the door down hitting it that hard!" Makoto exclaims.

"Relax! This is nothing compared to what Sakura could do. Sakura's really awesome, ya know? If she really wanted to...she could tear this door to shreds!" Hina says.

"I-I see..." Makoto says nervously.

I then turned on my heel and made my way towards the stairs, actually getting there this time. Once I walked up the stairs I saw Saki and Kyoko who were talking to each other before they turned to face me.

"So, you two thought to come here, too..." Kyoko said.

"...Two...?" I ask.

Saki giggles a little and points behind me. I turn around and see Makoto.

"Jeez! I didn't even notice he was behind me!" I thought.

"If you think about what Byakuya was so interested in yesterday...you can probably guess where he is right now, right?" Kyoko adds.

"Kyoko is talking about the library. I'm positive." I think.

I walked towards the library - getting a bit lost along the way, I honestly don't know what's wrong with me - when I reach the literary door and opened it, I saw Byakuya.
