Dear Matthew...

Chapter 2

When I woke up it was 8am the next morning. I slept long enough.

I sat up on the bed and I wondered what Matt was doing, but I shouldn't. I shouldn't be thinking about him. As much as I would like to think of the way he made me laugh, the best memories we shared, and just falling asleep next to him every night... I can't. Its ruined now, I realized that it was all a joke, it was fake.

that's why I left...

Lost in my thoughts I decided I would check my phone. I figured it would be going off non stop by now but I guess not..

as soon as I picked it up and tried to turn it on, it wouldn't.. it was dead.

I got off the bed, walked over to my bag to grab my charger, and plugged my phone in.

Waiting for my phone to turn on, I decided to start getting ready. I walked over to my bag to get my face wash and headed over to the bathroom to wash my face. As soon as the cold water hit my face it awakened me. Lathering the soap on to my hands and face I heard my phone go off non stop. Ring after ring, text after text.

I hurried to rinse the soap off of my face so I could reach my phone, but of course I got soap in my eyes.

"omg it burns! it burns! it burns!" I yelled fast stating the obvious.

wiping my face with a towel I made my way to my phone.

message from Dad:
'honey answer you phone we're starting to get worried'

message from Kian:
'Rachel I know your upset, but you deserved to know. you are my closest and bestest friend, you can't be mad at me for telling you. please answer me, I need to know you're okay :('

message from Matt:
'look I have no clue to what I did wrong, but if you would actually talk to me maybe I could find out and have a chance to fix it. your being way to selfish and bitchy about this.'

missed call from Chris.

woah, wait what? Why did- I don't even understand- how did- Why is he calling me??

Chris out of all people was the only one that called once. Let alone called at all?!

I threw my phone on the bed as well as myself. I put my hands over my eyes and started to cry...
