Megan POV

I knew that Matt would go all out with the date, so I had to make sure that I looked perfect. Today was Saturday and Kayla was working. So, basically, I had to pick out my outfit by myself. I know, it even sounds scary to me.

I dung through my closet and I did that about three times. Tshirt, skirt, niceish shirt, Tshirt,  formal shirt, skirt, dress, Tshirt, Tshirt, jeans, jeans, niceish shirt, and on and on. So, nothing good enough for a date Matt. I decided that I needed to go shopping.

I quickly got dressed in jeans and one of my niceish shirts. I put on some mascara and pulled a brush quickly through my hair before putting it up into a messy bun. I grabbed my phone and my credit card before walking to the kitchen to get my keys.

I went into the kitchen and grabbed my keys before heading out to my car. I drove off towards the mall and parked near Pebbles. I went inside and saw Kayla working, by herself, with a huge line of impatient looking customers. Kayla looked panicked, so I grabbed my apron thing and got to work helping Kayla. She gave me a grateful smile before turning back to the customer. I called up the next customer, checked them out, and moved them on before calling up the next customer.

About an hour later, all the customers were gone and I could leave.

"Thanks for helping me today," Kayla said.

"Of course," I said as I took off my apron.

"So, what were you doing here? Don't you have a date to be getting ready for?"

"Yeah, I was here to get a dress. Can you help me pick one out? I'm just going to get it here because I get my employee discount."

"Sure, I'll help."

Kayla and I looked through the dresses and I tried about a dozen before we found the perfect one.

"That's the one," Kayla said seriously as I walked out of the dressing room for the thirteenth time.

"Ya think?" I asked as I did a twirl in front of a mirror.

"Definitely," Kayla said.

The dress had a whiteish background with pinkish roses on it. It stopped about mid thigh and flowed beautifully.

"Okay, let me go take this off and pay," I said before going back to the dressing room.

I changed back into my street clothes and walked up to the cash register were Kayla was already standing. She checked me out and the dress only cost seventy dollars with my discount. It was originally one hundred dollars.

"Thanks. I'll see you later," i said as I was leaving.

"Bye, I'm expecting details missy," Kayla yelled at me as I was leaving.

I got in my car and headed to my house. I pulled into my driveway and got my bag with my dress in it. I walked in and heard my sister talking on the phone and I decided to eavesdrop.

"Yeah, he's kinda annoying sometimes.......uh huh.......well, you know the reason I'm dating him is to make Megan all jealous......no, of course not. he means nothing to me.....I know right, I can't believe he actually likes me."

My jaw dropped and I slide my back against the wall until I was sitting on the floor. I could not believe my sister was marrying a guy she didn't even like.

After a few minutes, Amber sounded like she was about to get off the phone, so I quickly went to my room to get ready for my date with Matt.

I pulled on my dress and curled my hair so that it fell softly onto my shoulders. I put on some mascara and some sparkly eyeshadow. I wore a heart necklace that I loved. My shoes were just some back flats.

As soon as I was done getting ready, Matt pulled into my driveway.

Here we go.

Author's Note: Hey guys! So, I'm going to mainly be focusing on my other books, "The Way It Was" and "The Three Words That Killed Us", so I might not be updating as much. Sorry about any sadness about that!

The picture is Megan's dress! Sorry if the picture's a little bad.

Anyways, Vote, comment, and such! <3
