On the topic of Plot Twists...
Has anyone ever read a book with a plot twist every other chapter?
If you have: Aren't they so bad!
Usually!
I highly doubt that...
You get bullied
You fall in love with your bully
Your bully decides that he loves you too
You break up with your current BF (if there is one)
Your Ex tries to murder you
Your bully cheats on you
You hate them
You make up
He cheats on you again
You get angry and sad
You make up again.
He cheats on you again
You decide you've had enough and leave him
He tries to get you back
He finally gets you back
Then he cheats on you again
Really people?!?!???!
Think: how would I react in this situation?
I understand that your character may not be like you at all, but think-
Would you make up with someone who's cheated on you, like, thrice.
And introducing the twists are important: Namely chapter endings
I'm no expert on literature, but you shouldn't end like:
Standing in the doorway was...
It should probably be more like:
Standing in the doorway, was someone is never think would be there in a thousand years.
Or
My mouth went agape when I saw who was in the doorway.
C: I feel happy right now and I don't know why.
