"baby todays the day" Juan said tapping me as I sat on the floor for the last 3 days without eating or drinking anything
Juan always tried to force me to eat and drink but I would just throw it right back up. Kiari was smart enough to know that Daddy passed away, she cries sometimes but she always says he's in a better place.
I was supposed to be taking care of her but from the way its been, she's been taking care of me. Juan mom let him stay with me these pass days.
"do you think that it will get better" I asked Juan with tears coming out my eyes
"there's nothing like losing a parent so I won't tell you that it will get better because everyone mourn different but right now he doesn't need you crying, he needs you to get up and pray for him so that he can make it into jannah (heaven)" he said looking at me
Nodding my head, I got up heading into the bathroom and doing my daily routine. Going into my closet, I got me a all black abaya with my white hijab and wallet and walked downstairs.
Everyone was in different colored throbes (just like abayas but for men) as I went to sit down next to grandma, she held a smile on her face as she prayed her daily prayer.
I started my prayer and after I was done i sat down and prayed for dad. Grandma hugged me and kissed my cheek
"i'm glad he got out of this terrible life" she said
"yea" I said lowly still laying on her chest
"everything will be okay baby, I love you" she said kissing my cheek
"I prayed for daddy" Kiari said coming out bringing a smile to my face as she sat on my lap
"oh yea what did you pray for" I asked her
"that he makes it to Jannah and Allah forgive all his sins" she said
"and daddy say that Allah is the most forgiving so I know he will forgive daddy" she said proudly and that really uplifted my spirits
"yes he will sissy" I said and for the first time in three days I didn't bust out crying

Walking up to Daddy grave, I put my had over it and said the Quran before telling him I love him once again.
"Thank you for being the father that i've always wished for, and such a good role model. You died for me and I promise you I will do everything to make you proud. I love you daddy, see you in jannah" I said kissing his casket
Dre walked up behind me and started speaking.
"Thanks for taking care of my sister men and you being her father makes you my father too. you took her out that devil place and that is enough for me to respect you, We love You man" Dre said

Juan drove me to Mcdonalds to get me some food. Receiving our food, we drove to the park where we had our first date
"thanks for being here for me" I said
"that's something I'm supposed to do as your man" he said
"I love you" I told him
"I love you more baby" he said
"I got you LOVE STRUCK" he said laughing
