The day went by just wonderfully; class: smooth, lunch: scrumptious, stealing looks from wakame: check and check. Badminton practice goes by easily as well, and there's no drama, no snappy tones, and everything just clicks.
My team and I are cleaning up the badminton courts and I hurriedly do my part. Even just being closer to Wakame makes me giddy and happy.
Everyone files out, and I see Wakame waiting for me a few feet away. I give him a small wave and walk over to him.
"Hi Wakame! How long have you been waiting?" I ask curiously.
"I just got here," He answers.
"If you keep waiting for me, I should end my practices a bit earlier so you don't have to keep waiting out here in the cold," I pout, and he nods.
