"BOSS" the administrator ran into the bosses office

"What do you need" the boss said sternly

"There was a black wolf spotted at the bay"

"A black wolf huh that's real funny" the boss said flipping through some papers

"No I'm dead serious sir look we even got proof " the administrator said handing the boss some pictures

"Sweet mother of god"

"Those things sell for thousands maybe even millions"

"I'm aware but there's him he looks like a protector which means their aware of their followers we need to isolate them" the boss said pointing at shirou

"On it sir"

"I want them dead or alive but I'd prefer alive" the boss said with an ungodly grin

Your POV

Ughhh

You shot up from your bed you had puffy baggy eyes from crying and lack of sleep you were all shaky and you had a tear stained face

you got out of bed and went downstairs shirou Michiru Melisa and that red hair guy were sitting at this table

you went over to the table and rested you head in your hand that was propped up by your elbow "are you okay y/n you were crying for a pretty long time last night" shirou said taking a sip of his coffee

Your face turned red from embarrassment you dug your face into your hands "I'm such a baby" you mumbled you looked back up at Melisa who had a nervous kind of smile on her face "oh yea" you whined banging your head down on the table

"I didn't mean to be so ignorant last night I was just upset sorry Melisa" you stated genuinely mad at your self you got up and slugged yourself back upstairs you didn't wanna do anything you just wanted to lay in that bed and sleep plus you were getting better and better at sleeping in your human form

You were peacefully laying there minding your business until shirou came into the room and picked you up and threw you over his shoulder

no context no nothing he picked you up and brought you downstairs you whined a bit but you were to tired to do anything else so you just lightly punched his back "lemme go" you mumbled

He then stopped and sat you at the almost empty table only michiru sat there "why did you bring me down here" you whined digging your head into your arms "you need to sign this citizens form but I knew if I told you upstairs you would've gave me a hard time and ran away again"

"I hate you"

"Sure"

"UGH this is dumb"

Shirou slammed the paper in front of you "your doing it weather you like it or not it's a requirement and I'm tried of putting up with your bullshit I let you go out yesterday you need to do this today"

"What happened to the shirou I saw last night" you whispered in a bratty tone shirou rolled his eyes and walked away you stared at the paper with irritated eyes that trailed over to michiru who was looking at her phone

"hey mirichu you don't have to babysit me I'm fine on my own" right after you said that something had been thrown at your head you hissed and whipped around Shiroi threw a pen at your head "the hell was that for" you said through clenched teeth "she's there because I told her to watch you because you have the attention span of a toddler and the temper of a kangaroo"

"Wow thanks a lot" you said sarcastically picking the pen up and turning back around you started doing what you called homework in your god awful kindergarten handwriting

You stomped upstairs and slammed the paper into shirous chest
"there" you said with yours eyes sharp and thin like daggers but he didn't feel threatened he sat there "your such a pain in ass" you growled the papers falling to the ground you started heading back to the room once you made it to the door you stood there for a sec "hey shirou"

"Hm"

"You know I don't actually hate you....right?"

"Mhm"

You nodded your head and went into the room and pretty much slept the rest of the day shirou came in and out of the room grabbing papers and stuff he seemed agitated about something he hadn't come back into the room for a few minutes so you got up and went over to that big pair of double doors you were guessing this was shirous office being as dark and gloomy as it was you knocked a few times and listened at the door

"Come in"

You slowly opened the door and walked in shutting it behind you quietly you stood there awkwardly watching shirou flip through papers and scribble something onto them every now and then

He only glanced up at you when his little bird friend landed on you and squawked

"Did you need something or did you just come here to annoy me some more"

"Well you seemed upset so I thought I-I would check on you"

"So what's wrong" you said walking closer

"Nothing is wrong"

"Just tell me"

"Ok fine" you said quietly turning around to leave

"your not gonna argue or complain or bicker with me?"

"No"

"Mm I'm surprised " he said putting the papers down and getting up from his seat

"There is one thing that's been bothering me"

"Oh and what's that" you said playing with something you found on his desk

"What did you mean by couldn't save your mother last night"

You stopped fidgeting you eyes were shaded by your bangs and you let out a sigh "I knew you were gonna ask just why so soon" you whispered barely noticeable

You let out a deep breath "when I was young...my dad well you could say he was not the nicest person he would.....well he would uh hit my mom and me and uh sometimes he would go a little too far and the last time he went way past too far he shot my mom in the gut aiming for her leg
After he shot my mom he dragged me inside and proceeded to sell me to bail himself out of jail"

Shiroi had no words again what was he supposed to say in this situation

"That's why I don't hate you Shirou Ogami because I see my mother in you"

"Hey It's fine I'm...I'm gonna head to bed see you tomorrow" you proceeded to leave the room leaving Shirou giving him a small smile and a puddle of guilt
