The start of fourth year

------ 3rd person POV ------

"Oh come on Evans! One date, thats all i ask!" Remus was standing on the platform, looking at James and Lily's never ending bickering. "How many times do i need to tell you Potter? NO" Lily huffed and walked towards Remus, with an annoyed look on her face. "How can you stand being around that arse all the time?" She asked when she pulled away, from their hug "i have been asking myself that same question for years Lils" He patted her on the back, and together they found a compartment.

Lily couldn't help but notice that Remus had gotten a lot taller and stronger over the summer, he had cut his hair so you could finally see his face. "You look a lot different Rem, what happened this summer?" she asked, looking up at the very tall bloke, in front of her "i'm assuming its a good kind of different?" he grinned. "Yes of course, i was just asking because when Sirius sees you he wont be able to keep it in his pants" she looked up at Remus as he blushed scarlet "i- erhm- no! Sirius isn't queer, haven't you seen how many girls he's always with?" he stuttered. "If you say so" Lily smirked as Remus elbowed her in the ribs.

"Merlins beard, moony got hot" Sirius exclaimed when he saw Remus walking with Evans. "Keep it in your pants Pads, you don't know if he likes blokes" James chuckled earning a smack in the back of his head from Sirius. Sirius has always had a tiny crush on his friend, he thought he was gonna blow past it after some time, but Sirius had liked Remus since second year, James had figured it out, and talked with Sirius about it. "Yeah well you aren't gonna figure it out either, if all you're gonna do is stare at him" James continued while forcefully shutting Sirius' mouth, that had been hanging open.

"Hi Sirius" Emmelie Vance giggled as she walked past the two blokes, Sirius chuckled and winked at her, a blush crept up on her cheeks but she kept walking. "All right Casanova, lets find the others" James pulled Sirius with him, towards the train.

Remus and Lily were sitting in a compartment for themselves, when the glass door opened "Hey Evans, care for a date?" James stood in the door opening, with a smirking Sirius right behind him "still no potter" Lily didn't even look at him before answering. "Worth a try, can we sit here then? everywhere else is full" James asked, she nodded and they sat down.

"You know a picture lasts longer right?" Remus teased when he caught Sirius staring at him again. James and Lily stifled a laugh as they saw how flustered Sirius got, "i know, but a picture wouldn't catch your inner beauty" Remus felt heat rising to his cheeks, as he rolled his eyes and looked out the window. 

This was going to be an interesting year.
