Dear Romeo, could you please leave me alone!?

Chapter 1

You gotta be kidding me. This is so not happening.

I turned to my side to see Sab, staring at me openmouthed. Did you hear his name!? She mouthed. I couldnt believe that this was happening. First Im named Juliet, and then greeneyes turns out to be named Romeo? What are the odds of that happening? I guess it just had to be me.

Slowly, I could feel all the eyes in the room turn to look at me. I blushed. I hated it when people stared at me. My teacher finally remembered she had a voice and said,

"Um. Romeo, you might take a seat. Theres an empty spot... Over there, in front of Juliet"

A few people snickered and I put my head down in my hands. This day coudln´t get any worse. They pointed the seat to Romeo and he slowly walked and sat down in front of me. He smiled at me before sitting down. What was with this guy? I was about to turn back to Sab when I noticed Romeo was trying to catch my attention.

"Hello Juliet. I think we weren't introduced properly when we met earlier."

Sab's mouth dropped even further as she mouthed You two have met before!?. I gave her a look that said I'd explain later and turned back to Romeo,

"Well, you heard it, my name's Juliet, pleased to meet you. Now, if you would be as nice to let me get to work."

Romeo smiled at me and turned back. Sab elbowed me and passed me a note, so that other's coudln't hear what she wanted to ask I guess. 

Oh that I were a glove on that hand! Its the east! And Juliet, is the sun! Looks like you found your Romeo , huh, Juliet? Now, why the hell didn't you tell me you already knew him?!

 I rolled my eyes and wrote my response,

That was because I just met him before arriving to class. He made me drop all my stuff. I didn't have a chance to introduce myself. Plus what's the difference? It's not as if anything will happen just because of our names.

I passed the note to Sab and she said, "You never know..." and gave me one of her weird looks. The thing about Sab is that she has all these weird stares that either scare the hell out of you or make you laugh. This one was about right in between.

I laughed and Romeo turned back. 

"What's so funny, lady Juliet?"

I rolled my eyes at him.

"Nothing you need to worry about Romeo. Just me and my nurse talking about the ball."

"Oh. Then thou shall be my partner! Would you care to accompany me, Lady Juliet?"

Sab cracked up at that, but I just stared at them. I was being sarcastic! Could he not understand that? This boy was certainly something different.

During lunch, a girl named Amanda started passing out invitations to her party. It was going to be Halloween soon and she organized a costume party each year. No one tought she would actually be allowed this time since it had gotten out of control last year to the point where the police arrived to calm things down a bit, but apparently Amanda was forgiven by her parents. Sab and I went to sit at our favorite table and she turned to me,

"So, what do you think of Romeo?"

"I think he is annoying, and a hypocrite, and I think he thinks to highly of himself. I also think he has a funny voice."

"You seem to know him quite well, huh"

I trew the cap of my water bottle at her,

"Oh, leave me. This is not funny."

She catched the cap in her hand, she used to play baseball as a kid, and trew it back at me. Of course, being completely uncoordinated, it hit me in the nose.

"Ow!"

"Oh, stop that. Plus it is funny and you know it. Maybe now you two might get to be co stars at the school play!"

I groaned. I had not thought about that yet! What if the girls wanted that too?! Tough I was not sure it would happen. The minions would want to recruit Romeo as a boyfriend for one of their own soon and then he would definitely not be in the play.

"Anyway. Are we going to Amanda's party? I know you hate these parties, but please don't be such a grinch!"

"I don't know about you, but I won't go."

Sab scowled at me.

"Oh come on Juliet! I already have a costume! You know this is the best party of the year! I heard there won't be any supervision too!"

I flinched. I hated parties, even more those without supervision.

"Pretty please with a cherry on top?"

I had to smile. Only Sab would still say something like that.

"What's in it for me?"

"You get to see your best friend having the time of her life and, God forbid, you might have some fun too!"

"I can have fun staying at home reading a Sarah Dessen book"

"Jeez, Juliet, have some fun! Plus, I heard there are going to be college students there! They say there is this cute guy from france that is going to be there! He could be my soulmate! And I am not going without you. So if I end up with thirty cats and a single woman it will be on your conscience forever!"

"Wow....That was....scary. Okay, fine I'll go. Tought there's one problem"

Sab jumped up from her chair and hugged me.

"Thank you! Thank you ! Thank you ! What is the problem? I will solve it! Anything for my grinchy Juliet!"

"I don't have a costume!"

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------HELLOO!!! :D So I finally updated the first chapter after the first part :D I know it took a long time Im so sorry! My internet was down and it took more than a week to fix it /: It sucked ! But I'm back :D By the way guys, you just have to listen to the song Iris by the Goo Goo Dolls. I am completely in love with it right now! Plus I found out it is really easy to its gonna be officialy the fist song I learn on Harmonica :D WISH ME LUCK! :D Anyway, I know that chapter wasnt great but I have it aaaalll planned out. If any of you have read Romeo and Juliet you guys know I have to follow the story at least a bit so you might know what is coming up tough I assure you it won't be exactly alike :) Seeyaa :D I promise to upload soon!
