This story isn't exactly centered romance, this is not an oc x cc story, there may be hints of it but rather than going with a romantic subplot I rather just want to explore scenarios. Such as this one the whole story is based off, What if, Riddle had a childhood friend? Someone who could be somewhat at his level and even understand him? That's where Chika comes in.
Most of the first few chapters would be in First Person, since I've been meaning to practice it, and I'll try to change POVs once in a while. The rest would be in third person.
Characters, like Riddle's Mom and Dad, and other characters that weren't exactly named or shown what they're like leave room for imagination, as such, take their descriptions with a grain of salt. Original characters would be more detailed, and that would include Yuu, but for her I'd only have her appearance as most of her dialogue would come from the choices.
Cater would be the previous Heartslabyul Dorm Leader, but that's just for convenience, it's not canon So don't push it onto others that Cater is the true dorm leader, that's just some case of elimination.
I hope you enjoy this little gimmick of a story I'm writing, I appreciate some feedback and I've decided to make this as a sort of prequel. Story developments have been planned out but they could always be made flexible. A lot of the chapters start as a 'what if' and I'll try acting on that idea .

It's kind of weird on how both the old and new version of the Red Knight are accumulating the same-ish amount of reads lol. Anyway, just in case you're new here, I've rewritten this story over on A03 under the same name (The Red Knight - Twisted Wonderland) and that's the one I'm working on. I hope you do get entertained a little by this, but it's quite outdated for my standards. The premise is almost the same, but I tweaked some of the developments in the story and actually showcase study buddy stuff.
it also has more words, i think i reached about 21k recently and this is before i rewrite the first couple of chapters
