Meeting Demigods

Cleo meets Reyna

        Walking into the cafe I saw a lonely girl with black hair and dark brown eyes. She looked bored so I walked up and said, "Hi my name is Cleo, I saw you alone so I thought I would introduce myself." She looked me up and down and I got a better look at her face. She had extremely dark brown eyes and high cheek bones. Her black hair was pulled into a neat braid down around her shoulder reaching her mid-torso, she was one of the most beautiful girls I have ever met and it was all natural. She wasn't sexy but she radiated power, leadership, and beauty. She was inspecting me trying to decide if I was trustworthy. Finally she said in a kind but powerful voice "Hi my name is Reyna, it's nice to meet you Cleo." she smiled at me and asked "What are you doing here talking to me, why are you not outside with your friends." I sighed and responded by saying "Like I said I saw you here alone and I felt bad so I came over to talk, you look nice. And, to me anything below 75 is freezing." She gave a light laugh and said "You never answered my question about why you are not with your friends."

        "My friends ditched me for the popular kids and my boyfriend cheated on me with a girl named Piper McLean who also has a boyfriend named Jason Grace, they go to some camp together. Why are you not with your friends?" I countered. She gasped and said "Piper cheated on Jason?!" I wasn't sure what to say to that so I stayed quiet. She developed a look of deep thought on her face and mumbled "They were in love what could have possibly happened after all they've been through and everyone is going to hate her." I was confused so I asked "You know them too?"

        "Yes, we are all great friends, everyone is going to hate Piper, we just never thought she would do something like that she is or WAS a amazing person." I just nod that an idea hits me like a slap across the face so I said "Why don't we go talk to Piper and see if she feels bad so we don't have to tell Jason 'cause from the stuff I've heard he's a good guy and I don't want to tell him that his girlfriend cheated on him." Reyna gave a thoughtful nod and said "Let me text Piper and ask her to meet us here." I just nodded.

        After 10 minuets of waiting Piper arrived and asked who I was Reyna explained and asked Piper if she was sorry for kissing Ryan (my boyfriend) she gasped and asked "How do you know?" so I explained and she looked down and a tear slipped down her cheek. She mumbled "I feel so awful, I was drunk and he walked up to me and the alcohol messed me up I  ended up getting raped and can't tell Jason." I looked over at Reyna and she looked horrified, she gave Piper a hug and said "How about we have a girls day, no boys and no stress."

      I smiled and said "Sure we can go and get lunch than do whatever the hell we want." Piper looked at me gratefully and smiled. Long story short, we went to get taco's then donuts from Dunkin' and just had a blast the rest of the day. At the end we all parted our separate ways but I never forgot that day when I met two of the nicest people I know.
