I nodded and went onto the dance floor. I saw both Piper and Jason and a little further from them was the target. 

Richard Child. 

I stepped towards him, dancing and acting like a drunk lady, and accidently bumped into him. 

Ugh. 

I hate this part. 

My phone dropped on the floor, and I bent down to pick it up, the same time Richard did. Our heads bumped together, but I picked up my phone and smiled. 

"Hi! Um, sorry about th-"

"No, no, it's OK!" he said, shaking his head. 

"Uuuh, Marissa McLean right?" he then guesses. 

"Yup...um, that's me."

God I am stuttering soo much. 

I giggled to signal that I was drunk and he raised an eyebrow. 

"Sorry, just the drinks." I motioned at the bar and he nodded while his eyes roamed over my body. 

Ugh. 

Get your chauvinist eyes off me.

"Bet another drink wouldn't hurt would it?" he suggested. 

"Nope!" I giggled again. 

Giggle.

"You sound pretty cringy," Aria said. 

I ignored her and took Richard's hand as he whisked me to one of the tables and ordered a drink. Once they arrived, he took a flirty sip. 

My God-

My phone started ringing and I looked at it, as Reyna's name popped up, but just R.A.R.A. 

"Friend?"

"Yup. Her mother has cancer and so she calls me most of the time for company." I covered. I stood up and looked towards the door that led to the balcony. It was empty most of the time, but it lead right towards the pool, which wasn't turned on at this time. 

"I think I may have to-"

"I'll come with you," he said. 

I smiled.

Yes. 

He's falling for itttttttt

We both came out into the balcony and I picked up Reyna's cell. 

"How is it going?" she asked. 

"Pretty good." I said, looking at Richard through the corner of my eye, who was looking at me. 

Why me everytimeeeeee?

"You gonna strike?"

"When it ends. Well, I gotta go. Got myself a hot date." I winked at Richard.

I ended the call and Richard stood up. 

"So-"

I cut him off by stabbing him in the arm. 

Both Jason and Frank were on the other side of the door so no one could see what was happening and I smiled. 

"There's nowhere to run. You're stuck." Percy and Piper entered once I extracted the knife from his arm. He sunk to the ground and Percy caught him.

"Nice work sis." Piper said. 

"Thanks. He was getting on my nerves a lot."

Reyna came in with Aria.

"Yeah no joke. You called him 'hot'." she laughed. 

"What? Seriously?" Aria asked. 

"I was trying to be convincing." I grumbled. 

"You nailed that." Percy mumbled. 

I ignored him and held out my hand to Piper, who gave me some rope. I attached it to one of the railings and Percy quickly rappelled down and ran to the car which was parked in the parking lot a few meters away. Thankfully, the parking lot was empty, so Percy loaded him in, and then I turned away. 

"The mission is done. Everyone, let's get back." I said into the comms.
