37|More curious by the day

Start from the beginning

That day I took out a stack of books from the library trying to find some sort of answer for all of this.

I was on my way headed back to the common room to look through them.

I stumbled through the hallway trying not to run into anyone.

Unfortunately I bumped into the one person I had least expected to see.

I dropped all of my books on the ground and sighed.

"Sorry about that." Harry said nervously.

"It's fine, I was in a rush."

As he picked up one of the books he stared at the cover for a moment.

He looked up at me with a curious face.

I looked down at him as he continued picking up my stack of books.

"Seems like we have a similar situation." He said with a laugh.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"I-never mind. I'll see you around Y/n." He said as he walked away quickly.

"O-okay..."

I rushed back to the common room and sat down on one of the couches.

I opened the book that had I had hid in my bag.

The second I touched it I saw an image of what looked like Cedric, but he was laying on the ground.

He was dead.

That will be the day of the Triwizard tournament.

I snapped out of my vision to Draco violently shaking me.

"Y/n..?"

"Ugh, what?" I said.

"What's wrong with you?" He asked.

"It's nothing."

"You can't keep lying to me," he sat down next to me on the couch.

"But I'm not lying Draco."

"What's with all the books then?"

"It's just research, and also none of your business by the way."

"Why were your eyes glowing?" He asked.

"What the hell are you talking about?" I said sounding mildly annoyed.

"Your eyes, they had no color. As if they were purely white."

I bursted out laughing.

As if I would believe one of his stupid jokes.

"Yeah right." I snarled.

"Why are you laughing?"

"Because, you are trying to freak me out and it's not going to work Draco."

"I'm telling you the truth."

I rolled my eyes.

"Yeah yeah, I have to focus, so if you don't mind..." I said as I swatted him away.

He sighed, got up and walked away.

L͟A͟T͟E͟R͟:

Dinner had passed, I'd been sitting in the same spot for hours trying to find an answer.

Maybe I'm hallucinating?

I closed the book I was reading and rubbed my face.

It was late and I needed to get to bed.

I ended up passing out on the couch.

DRACO'S POV:
I walked in the common room because I couldn't sleep.

I saw Y/n passed out with her stack of books laying on the table.

She was still in her uniform and still had her makeup on.

I can't just leave her out here.

I quietly walked over to her and reached over to pick her up.

I carried her to her room and just as I suspected, pug-face wasn't there.

She's probably trying to sleep with Blaise for the millionth time this week. Pathetic.

I put Y/n on her bed and took off her necktie without waking her.

I placed the covers over her and took off her makeup.

Wow, heavy sleeper.

I looked at her and smiled, but my eyes shifted to her hand.

She was wearing the ring Diggory gave her.

I took the ring off her finger and slid it into my pocket.

I'll hold onto this for a while.

I sat down on one of the beanbags in her room.

She needs company...or I'm the one who needs company.

I felt my eyes get heavy and soon enough I fell asleep.
