How can I want something I've never felt
Am I doing it wrong or was it just the cards i was delt
I can say I love you but I never mean it
wishing that one day I can hopefully achieve it
I guess you could say I have felt "lust"
Once it ended it had felt like a knife thrust
So was it love I was feeling?
Or was it me telling myself it was
Because companionship is what I'm feening
Love to me is quit svelte
It bends with ease
I can talk myself into feeling it but soon the feeling shall melt
I can give no guarantees
