When they arrived Tom and the other 1st years were guided but Hagrid to the castle , then they all were guided to the main hall by professor longbottom!

Helena : nah. My dad is a Hufflepuff and mum is a ravenclaw. I'm guessing I might be one of these

They call out everyone for sorting ceremony ...
McGonagall: good evening children, I'm headmistress professor minerva McGonagall. The sorting ceremony shall begin .now when I call out your names you come forward to be sorted.
Tom: she is the headmistress, and she sorts us?
Helena: yeah ! There I see the hat!
