Chapter 1: Moving

I've always dreamed about moving to England, especially to London. Just because I love that place. I don't know exactly what I love about it. It just feels like home. It feels warm and close. A week ago my dream came true. My dad announced that we are moving. To London. Right now I'm packing because we're leaving tomorrow. I'm so excited. My room seems so empty now. Not that it was full of memories. At least I had a few. That doesn't matter, I'm going to make new memories in London.

next day

I'm so nervous, in three hours we arrive in London. Me and my sisters can't wait. Let me tell you about them. My oldest sister, Haden, is 18 years old and hates everything me and my little sister do. I'm closer with my little sister, Evelyne. She's 13, plays piano and ukulele. She's quite the musician. I'm the creative one of the three. And Haden... I don't know actually what she is like. But I love them both, equally.

Unpacking is so boring. I don't have enough things to fill this room with, but that is not a problem, I'm sure that by the end of the week I'll have new memories to fill things in. In two days I already need to go to school (uuughh), I hope that my new class will be better than my old one. I just felt left out, I didn't have many friends, but no worries I will be fine (I hope). My parents are now out to buy some groceries, so my sisters and I are home alone. I have an urge to go shopping and I can't ignore it. So mall, here I come.

Before leaving I put my book in my drawer. Just need to find my wallet, I keep losing that stupid thing. I sometimes think that my little sister robs me. I yell: "I'm going shopping." and just hear some mumbling from Haden's room.  I don't think Evelyne heard me, she's probably writing songs on her piano. I run down the stairs and trip over the carpet and fall right on my face. "Damn it." I stand up and see Evelyne peeking from behind her door. Probably just to make sure I'm okay. "I'm okay!" She goes back into her room. I finally leave the house.

After two hours shopping for things for my room, I have no more money in my wallet. But it was worth it. I leave the store and bump into someone. "I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to. Are you okay?", I say, looking at the person I bumped into. The young woman has pink hair, it looks very nice on her. She has a very cute sweather on. Did she buy it here, and where? She looks at me and says: "It's okay. I'm fine, are you?" "I'm fine, again my apologies. I'm Quin, I just moved here." " Hi I'm Nikita, but you can call me Niki."
