My eyes close, as I am laying in David's arms so lifeless, so cold, and so still. I hear a long beep that seems to never end. I feel a soft and tender touch to my lips. I want to wake up to see who it is. I fight out of this world. I know it's not really, I can't leave, I am not ready to. Not yet. I run through this world so fast, I see the door that I couldn't walk through before. I hurry and open the door. Not a second thought. Gasp. My head rises up. I hear a strong heartbeat as if my heart was not in danger. I want to open my eyes but I can't. I can feel everything around me, I can hear it all, but I can't wake up. I try and try to but nothing works.

What felt like days later. I hear many voices. They're all stern. I feel the movement of people rushing around me. I hear babies whining, people crying, and doctors yelling. I feel the wind in my face of being rushed into the hospital. I can smell the cleaning supplies and the latex gloves. Through all the ruckus I hear the sweet soft voice of David. That's all I needed to force my body awake. I have needles, and bandages wrapped all around me. I have a tube down my throat. I move my hands around making sure that it's all real. I can't move as much as I wanted to so I make do with what I can. I notice that as I get pushed my arm swings back and forth. When we turn the corner I sway my arm as hard as I can grabbing hold of David's shirt. I try to walk my hand up his torso to see if he notices. Finally, he feels tickly of my ever so delicate fingers brushing against him. He turns and looks at me. I give him the best smile I can. Oakleigh! I thought you had died. David says frightened. I try to talk but I can’t. Finally, after some time walking I finally got placed into a room.
