Hello! So, I just want to put this little announcement up, because I'm getting pissed. This book, one I am pretty proud of, keeps getting comments of people dissing the MC, and I am just going to explain why this is making me so mad.

This does contain spoilers, but it's important to me that people understand this.

In this story, Y/n is a singular person. She has absolutely NO idea how Katsuki is feeling, or how the things she does affect him. He was an ASSHOLE to her and her best friend for most of their lives, so she rightfully hates him. So she hates him, and doesn't give a fuck about him.

As the story progresses and they get closer, (remember SHE DOESN'T KNOW ABOUT HIS FEELINGS) they end up having a fight because she gets a crush on someone else, while Bakugou basically throws a fit. However, people don't get mad at Bakugou for not trying to understand her feelings, when she was just being honest. They get mad at Y/n for HAVING FEELINGS. So when Bakugou gets mad over this insignificant little thing, they blame Y/n. People have called her heartless, cold, a bitch, and other things.

But people aren't understanding what Y/n is feeling. Her new best friend, who she has just gotten close with, suddenly flips out when she starts growing feelings for someone else. And instead of accepting her, like a good friend would do, he throws a tantrum, and then avoids her, then taking back any of the kind things he's ever said to her, and treating her like shit.

All she did? Have feelings, and get defensive when her feelings were invalidated. Like a normal person would.

They keep blaming her, and telling her to "stop acting like the victim", "why is she acting like the victim?", "stop crying, this is your fault", but no. She is a victim, both her and Katsuki are. Her, because she did hardly anything wrong. Yeah, she reacted a bit harshly, and yeah, she got mad and also avoided him, but this is because he yelled first, with no explanation of why he reacted so harshly.

They do eventually make up, and things get better, but only because they both tried. I honestly can't think of anything Y/n did wrong other than have feelings for someone else.

So throughout the story, (1- early on when she says that she doesn't care about Bakugou, 2- when Bakugou and Y/n have a fight) please remember how Y/n feels and the little amount she knows of Bakugou's feelings, and STOP. BLAMING. HER.

I get it, it's frustrating to see a couple torn apart by something as stupid as getting feelings for the wrong person, but IT'S NOT Y/N'S FAULT. STOP BLAMING HER FOR BAKUGOU'S SHORTCOMINGS. They both made mistakes, so stop blaming her for  everything and dissing her, and overall just being assholes about it.

Please.

Thank you.

(Re-update)

Hey! Later author.

Most people have been respectful as of late, but there are a few people still not understanding. Yes, it is simply your opinion.

I know it seems stupid to get so upset over something, but this was my second ever book and at the time, it was hard for me to face criticism of my characters. I now can take that, I am more emotionally mature, and can handle that. However, I will not tolerate directly saying that me getting upset over something like this is stupid.

So I would just like to say, those who do believe this was a stupid thing to get mad about and express it on here, I do read every single comment posted on my books, and you will be muted and the comment removed.

Thank you :)
