36|Competitive nature

Start from the beginning

No one else was in the locker room..besides us.

"You were out quite late last night," Draco said while he faced away from me putting things into his locker.

"Yeah," I replied "and your point exactly?"

He slammed his locker and turned to me.

"You can be a very difficult person Y/n."

"So I've been told." I sassed.

"I like that," Draco said as he slowly walked closer to me.

"I know you were with Diggory last night. It doesn't matter, but I bet whatever happened I did it better," he whispered in my ear.

"Give it up already Draco. This pathetic little game of yours has gone on long enough."

He pressed me up against the lockers.

"I'll give up when you are mine. As for 'this game' I intend to win." He leaned in closer, "you know how competitive I can be," he whispered.

He backed away, there was quiet for about 3 seconds, that is until we were basically ripping each other's clothes off.

When we were done we showered together.

Time skip to breakfast

Draco and I walked back to the Great Hall as if nothing had happened.

Cedric waved at me from the hufflepuff table and smiled.

Draco looked at him and glared as we walked to the rest of the group.

We had breakfast like we usually did.

I saw Cedric looking over at Draco and I, suddenly I felt him put his arm around me.

Cedric jealously glared at Draco with contempt in his eyes.

I had never seen him look at anyone like that before.

Cedric was such a nice guy, but it made me wonder about how much he cared about me.

Draco had a smirk on his face. This really was all just some game to him.

I sighed and pushed Draco off of me.

I got up and grabbed my bag.

"And where do you think you're going?" He asked.

"I don't have to answer to you." I responded coldly.

When I walked out I saw Luna in the hallway reading a book.

"Hey Luna."

"Oh, hello Y/n."

Luna and I talked until we had to go to first period.

She said she was going to make me apple earrings, like the radish ones she had made for herself.

When we were in class Draco kept trying to hold my hand.

I kept pulling way mostly because I'm not a fan of being touched.

(I know the irony)

When we had to read I completely spaced out.

"Y/n, read page 468 out loud to the class." Snape said.

"I-

"Actually professor, she has a sore throat today so I'll take her place." Draco said.

I was both relieved and annoyed.

When I was in the hallway walking with Luna to class Cedric walked up to us.

"Hey guys." He said.

"Hi." We both responded.

"May I escort you ladies to class?" He asked.

"Sure." I said.

"Cedric, he's always such a gentleman," she whispered to me.

As we walked through the hallway we ran into Draco.

"Diggory." Draco sneered.

"Malfoy, nice to see you, as always..."

Cedric? Being sarcastic? I've never seen this side of him. But it's oddly attractive.

"Y/n why are you hanging around this lunatic?"

"Why do you always have to be so mean?" I asked.

"No, it's alright actually." Luna said as she smiled.

"It's not okay. You can't just insult people like that. Luna is kind not to mention she's Y/n's friend." Cedric said.

"Ooooo, you're too nice to hurt me. We both know that Diggory."

With no warning Cedric punches Draco right in the nose.

"Not so sure you do Malfoy."

Cedric continued walking us to class as Draco stumbled around trying to stop his nose from bleeding.
