Let's get down to it!

...

Holly Morrison was cleaning out her locker. She frowned, and gave a frustrated sigh. Her locker was was an absolute mess. Letting out a quiet growl, Holly reached to the back of her locker - where she always imagined spiders would live - and found an old book, as she a book she thought she'd got rid of. It was a little dirty, slightly torn and folded in places it shouldn't be.

"What's that for?"

Looking up, Holly saw a tall, thin boy her age. He had chin length, caramel coloured hair and dark eyes. His grin was heartbreaking, and he was directing it at her.

"Silver!" throwing her arms around his neck, Holly hugged Silver tightly, and he hugged her back.

Reluctantly pulling away, Holly smiled up at her boyfriend of three years.

Silver was the want of every female student at the school. He was charming, hilarious, good looking, nice, calming, hardly-ever arrogant (so he could take a teasing blow to his ego) and romantic.

And, Holly would admit lovingly, and a little smugly, that he was all hers.

"And a warm good morning to you, too!"

"Hey, what do we have, now?"

"Food. We have a new girl, as well."

"Ooh, fun. A new toy for Silver to flirt with." I laughed, sarcastically.

He grinned over at Holly, wolfishly, "You, Holly, are my only toy - and I don't just flirt with you."

Holly giggled. "Silver!"

He grinned over at her. "I know - and you're getting turned on."

She laughed. "Yes, Silver, your innuendos are very orgasmic."

Shutting his locker, Silver put his arms on the lockers either side of Holly.

"So, we're in agreement, then?"

Laughing, Holly kissed him.

He kissed back.

...

"Morning, students!"

"Good morning Mister Edgecombe." the class replied in a monotonous voice.

Standing awkwardly by the teacher was Monica Endervitz. A few years back, Monica did attend Matthew James High School, but she moved to England, as her father got a job there. Returning, four years later, Monica had found the school had changed.

A lot.

She recognised some faces in the class before her:

There was Lyra Mitchell, a girl Monica once classified as a "Too-Cool". Everyone would hate Lyra, Lyra would hate them, too. Even her group of friends. She hadn't changed.

Silver Perry, a boy she once remembered with ear-length caramel hair, now his hair had grown long. She liked it, better, longer. In actual fact, Monica had always had a thing for Silver, but she never told anybody.

And, finally, she saw Holly Morrison: Holly was so much different to how Monica remembered her. Holly once had chin length hair, and now, it sat half way down her back. It also used to be curly, and now, it was dead straight. Monica noticed that Holly also wore acrylic nails over her original ones. She also had thick black mascara, natural foundation and lip gloss. She really had changed, except for the fact she still wore the string bracelets.
