Suicidal girl- kind of nice but doesn't think so of herself. She gets with guys and helps them get their girlfriend or lover back, playing cupid. When guys get hurt or just wanna play around, she'll follow whatever they say resulting in her always getting used and sometimes some girls would slap her or beat her up. One day she fell for a guy who seemed really nice and she got closer to him. The girl that the guy female lead fell for finally liked him back so he left the female lead. Female lead (from now on referred to as FL) chases after him and holds him back with a hug, then quickly pushing herself away from him with tears running down her face. She runs back to her apartment and goes on a rampage, breaking and throwing things around. She's repeating to herself that she's no good, useless, unneeded, unwanted, etc. One day her best friend comes to visit and tries to help but then FL pushes the best friend out and locks her out. She fills up her bath tub with water leaving the faucet running and slit her wrists, climbing into the tub overflowing with water. Best friend and next door neighbor busts door down and calls 911 and the FL is brought to the hospital. FL is unconscious for 2 weeks and wakes up one night. Later she's discharged from the hospital but has to go to a mental hospital. She strikes a deal with her doctor - she'll do daily in-person check ups with the therapist they recommend if they allow her to stay home and she won't have any sharp objects around in her apartment. She starts visiting her therapist every day, barely speaking about herself. Some days she'll talk and others she'll just take a nap on the therapist's couch. One day, FL doesn't make it to the appointment and the therapist gets worried, since it's her first meeting she's missed and if she was going to be late or not be able to make it, she would always call ahead of time. As someone who's highly dedicated to their job and word, they decided to check up on FL at her apartment. Therapist shows up and knocks 3 times and no one comes to answers the door. He tested the knob and it was unlocked, so he let himself in quickly and searched the whole place for her. He went to her room only to find her sleeping in her bed. He3 takes her temperature and she's burning up, then her stomach growls. Therapist set up a bowl of cold water, drenched a towel in it, wrung out the water and placed it on her forehead and then went to get food. Later, therapist forced answers out of FL and she admits that she lives alone and barely eats anything and barely enters outside of her apartment. Therapist noticed that there was an extra room and then left. Suddenly therapist was kicked out of his apartment and shows up at FL's place with some of his stuff, the rest of them in a storage unit that was paid by the building landowner. (He was kicked out because landowner signed a contract and every tenant was kicked out.) FL reluctantly let therapist stay since he had nowhere to go and agreed it was until therapist could find another apartment to stay at within his budgets and distance from his work place. He owns a car but is stingy with money and saves the most he can. One night FL had a night terror attack and therapist woke up and started to calm her down. In the midst of the of the whole chaos, FL told therapist what happened, how her life was up until that point, her true feelings and revealed to him why she never did anything about it. "I've always wanted to be that pure and kind should that I see in movies and even in real life. Blindly trusting people, never saying harsh words to them, always believing them and staying by their side, never doubting them and always being the person they could run to. But. I've been betrayed tons of times. Every time I had a crush on a guy, he's use me to get closer to one of my friends. I mean, I wouldn't blame him. Compare me to them. I'm dat, ugly, my personality is horrible, my face is horrible, my head is big my body is wide I don't have any curves and overall I'm just a fake person trying to be someone she could never be. Meanwhile all of my friends are truly and genuinely kindhearted, slim, fit, amazing, gorgeous, and always true to the person that they are. We're complete opposites. I'm easy to get to and most of the time I just made it easier for them and offered my assistance to them. One time there was this guy I truly loved with all my heart. I was there for him when his parents left him, when his sister belittled him, when he wanted to die. I introduced him to one of my best friends, I really wanted them to get along because I thought that he'd be the one for me. I never told her though. Then all of a sudden, one night, my heart started to beat faster. I didn't what it was, call it my sixth sense or whatever. That same night they both told me that they had feelings for each other and that it's been 3 months since they started dating and felt like they should tell me. I... I felt betrayed. Horrible. Used. I couldn't stand it anymore. I snapped and said the most horrible things to the both of them. Cut off all contact and never spoke to them. Ever since I've always felt guilt every day, some more than others, some less. But mainly I'm just numb now. So before I all for anyone else, I ask if they want my help it I tell them that they can come to me any time. that's just how it's always been up till now." That night the therapist's eyes were open. The moonlight had hit FL's face just amazingly beautiful, glowing on her face and lighting up the stroke of tears that they left behind on her face. That's when he know the true her. Her past. She truly is kind and pure, she truly is beautiful both on the inside and out. She truly is amazing and a one-of-a-kind. that was the moment he fell in love. that was the moment he promised himself to get her to open up to him and to trust him and for her to realize the kind of person she truly is, to be herself in a positive way rather than negative. to feel loved rather than numb. After that night she'd shut herself in again, never speaking about herself, making short conversation with him. Little by little though, the therapist started to enter his way in. he'd gotten permission by her doctors to have knives and scissors back in the place he'd be staying with her. He'd make her food and try to find her favorite dishes or what her taste palate was like. he'd make dessert for her sometimes when she looks extra down and he'd try to get her to go on a walk with him outside when there's a lot of sunshine to get Vitamin C on his days off work. Slowly, she fell in love with him just as he did with her. She took him to a grave. Her mother's grave. "You're the second person to come here." "Who was the first?" "My best friend, Lydia." Lydia would visit from time to time and she'd sit own with FL in her room and talk about stuff. When therapist was home and Lydia was over, that was when he'd hear FL's laugh the most and the brightest. "Lydia has always been there for me. Since birth. Our mothers were childhood best friends." Lydia had only started to visit FL again after a few months. "I'm sorry I haven't come in a while. I was busy with work and stuff came up. But to be honest, I was scared. I haven't seen you like that before and it was terrifying. Just the thought of losing you, I was scared. When I heard that you got discharged I felt light again. I wanted to head over here as quick as possible, but stopped myself. I often questioned myself what I could've done earlier to prevent this. I'm such a horrible friend, to let you go through this all alone." "I wasn't all alone. I know you're always here." *Takes Lydia's hand into hers* "I know you're always worried about me and I'm sorry I never confided in you." Since that ay, Lydia would be the only one to bring out a smile or laugh from FL. (That scene was a flashback to the moment Lydia visited her since FL got discharged.) At the grave- therapist told FL his true feelings and asked FL's mother for permission. Just then a gust of mind appeared and flowers turned over, showing beauty amongst all. FL was brought to tears and for the first time widely smiled i front of therapist. Then, they got closer and closer, within time she truly got better and started to see herself in a more positive life. She started working as therapist's personal secretary and aided him in his work. Therapist proposed and FL happily said Yes with tears streaming down her face. They both looked into each other's eyes with nothing but love for the other person.
