Hello, I'm Kath! I've been an avid reader since high school. I was 12 when I read the first book I had which is "Persuasion" by Jane Austen. I admit that I only bought that book for our book report in English, but when I started reading it, it got me hooked. Yes, I know, it's a bit of a mature love story for a 12-year-old kid, but whatever.

After that, I got interested in buying more books. I was only interested in the classic books that time that's why I bought "The Death of the Heart" by Elizabeth Bowen, "Wuthering Heights" by Emily Bronte, and too many to mention. Tinatamad na akong mag-type 😂

As I'm growing, I learned to explore and find other books that aren't classics but still worthy of time. I had "My Girl" by Patricia Hermes, "The Perks of Being a Wallflower", "Thirteen Reasons Why", "Looking for Alaska", "Paper Towns", and other John Green books. I also had "The Notebook" by Nicholas Sparks, then later on, I discovered Colleen Hoover's books. Syempre, may mga Tagalog books din naman akong nabasa pero kaunti lang kasi medyo hindi ko bet 'yung may mga malalalim na Tagalog words. I've read "Dekada '70", "ABNKKBSNPLAko?!" by Bob Ong, and 2 pocketbooks from Martha Cecilia.

I was 14 when I discovered Ebook. I tried reading some stories in there until I got addicted. Hanggang sa tuluyan na akong nagbasa rito sa Wattpad. Sikat man na story o hindi, basta pasok sa panlasa ko at maayos ang pagkakasulat, binabasa ko. Dati, ang gusto kong binabasa lang na mga stories ay 'yung sa mga sikat na authors. But as time goes by, I also learned to discover hidden gems. Sometimes, the most precious diamonds are rare and hard to find, but you just gotta have to dig deeper to get them.

There is beauty in hidden things. If you are patient enough, you will find them. Most of the times, undiscovered or unpopular works are the ones that carry a lot of good stuff especially when it comes to life lessons and realistic events. I'm not saying na lahat ha. Kasi marami pa ring unpopular works na karamihan ay from aspiring writers na sobrang jeje ng content (i don't mean to offend, this is the truth). Kaya nga need mo talagang maghanap ng worth it na mababasa dahil sabi ko nga... RARE lang sila at mahirap hanapin.

That's why I made this story recommendation to help you find some good stuff. And also to help these unpopular authors to be found and recognized. There are really good unpopular stories out there which I think for me, deserve to be recognized.

➡️ I'm not forcing anyone to read the stories I will inlude here. You have your own preference and I respect that. Para lang ito sa mga may gusto lang na mapapadaan dito at naghahanap ng iba pang stories.
➡️ As I said, the stories here are my personal picks and my personal recommendations. Kung may story kayong nakita rito na ayaw ninyo, wala akong pakialam. Gumawa kayo ng sarili ninyong recommendations. Doon niyo isalpak lahat ng gusto niyo.
➡️ Take not na lahat ng ilalagay ko rito ay 'yung mga stories na never kong nakita na pakalat-kalat sa social media. Undiscovered at unpopular ang ilalagay ko rito na mga nabasa ko na. Kapag overhyped na sa soc med at sikat ang writer, hindi ko ilalagay rito. Sinabi nang para sa mga unpopular stories ito hahahaha!
