"Wren, you know a lot of those girls have slept with your boyfriend, while you were dating..." James said, trying to either upset Wren or convince her not to go. Wren rolled her eyes. It was weird that Elijah and slept with a lot of those girls and so had Miles. Why were they sleeping with the same girls and each other? Like they all should've just slept together at the same time at this point.
"We don't know that." Wren shrugged. James and I gave each other a look.
"No, it's good that she wants to go. This whole thing seems sus, I want to know what is going on. I can't go because my mom wants to talk tonight." I lied. I couldn't tell them about August.
"Yeah, true. I can't go because my grandparents are in town because my brother has a concert tomorrow, so we have a dinner." James nodded in agreement. Her brother played the clarinet and had a concert tomorrow with his school band.
James and I both left Wren's house at around 5. I turned to look at her before we left.
"Oh, I forgot to ask. How was it with Miles last night?" I asked, wanting to know the details of her and Miles.
"Oh, it was really good actually. He came over again this afternoon. Yeah, it was really good." She emphasized again and smiled. I nodded and smiled at her.
We both turned to leave then. I walked over to August's parents' house and James walked to her house. She hadn't driven since her house was close to Wren's. When I got to August's house, she let me in the house and took me to her room. She had put on a colourful eyeshadow look and dark red lipstick. She was wearing a flowy shirt that was tight at her chest area. A lot of cleavage was showing. I felt bad that I was wearing paper bag pants and a loose tank top. She wrapped her arms around my waist and placed her lips on my cheek. I felt her hands start travelling up my stomach and to my sports bra. She tucked her hands under as she moved her lips onto mine. She then pulled away and then look away from me. Her dark skin had hidden her blush.
"Eliza, could we maybe drink tonight? I never get to drink because my manager doesn't want me to and stuff but it's my last night here and I think it would be really fun to drink together." She asked and grabbed my hands in hers. I didn't see why we couldn't or shouldn't do that, so I agreed. She smiled at me and got on her hands and knees. I looked at her weirdly and watched her pull alcohol out from under her bed. She had grabbed some vodka and tequila from somewhere.
"I stole it from my grandparents. Let's go to the treehouse. I already packed everything." She grabbed my hand and pulled out of her house and to her car.
When we got to the tree house, we hauled all the stuff to the platform: blankets; pillows; the alcohol; some snacks; a flashlight; her guitar; and a speaker. Once everything was set up, we laid down on the blanket and began passing the bottle back and forth. Part of the treehouse was covered in a roof and the other part acted as a small balcony. We laid on the uncovered area so we could stare at the orange and pink sky. August had put some music on in the background. Our conversations changed back and forth from deep to dumb. The whole time I felt August's hand tracing over my arm.
After a few hours August sat up and leaned over me. She leaned her face near mine and then kissed me. She ran her hand through my hair and set her other hand on my waist. I put my hands on her chest and slowly trailed them onto her boobs.
It was now dark outside; the sky was covered in stars. We had been lucky enough to lay here on a night without clouds. August laid beside me naked, drawing circles on my arm. I turned to look at her. She began drawing the circles on my chest and breasts now. She stared at my chest. I felt very dizzy.
