Darcy's POV
In Darcy's dream
"Hey Dra-" I start but get cut off.
"Go away." Draco says.
"Bro-" I get cut off again.
"Shut up, you caused everything.."He says.
Tears fill my eyes, and I run to Kayla.
"JJ!" I hug Kayla, but she pushes me away.
"J-JJ..?" I mutter.
"Leave me alone! I hate you.." She yells, and my ears go down.
I whimper quietly and run off.
I try talking to Kate, Blaise, Pansy, and Luna, but they all either ignored me or told me to go away.
By now, I'm crying.
'Dragon wouldn't hur-hurt me.. I need an explanation..' I think as my tail wags a little at the thought of Draconian.
Draconian has always protected me, and cheered me up.
I walk to Draconian, crying and hug it.
It pushes me to the ground and snarls at me.
"...Dragon..?" I say, looking up at it.
"You caused all of this..! It's your fault! You could've done more. You were his favorite! They all died because of you!" Draconian raises its voice and goes to scratch me.
Darcy wakes up
I sit up fast, whimpering loudly, crying, and sweating.
I pull my knees to my chest, crying hard.
"Mm... princess..?" I hear Draconian say in a raspy voice from just waking up.
I just whimper, and Draconian sits up fast, looking at me. I look at it, hardly able to see from how dark it is and the tears in my eyes. I can just make out its eyes.
"Pri-princess.." Draconian says quietly, pulling me close.
"Y-you-... i-it's all m-my fault! I shou-should've done more! Even you sai-said it..! Scor-Scorpius is dead because of me!!" I say, stuttering from how much I am crying. (small spoiler)
Draconian wraps its arms around me.
"No, princess... you had no control over him... or their deaths.." Draconian says.
"Bu-but he died trying to sa-" I start.
"That was his choice. You could not stop him... he chose that.." Draconian says, cutting me off.
"D-do you h-hate me..?" I ask, getting an immediate reaction from Draconian.
Draconian's eyes widen a little, and it slightly tightens its arms around me.
"No.." It says, looking me in the eyes.
"...." I feel my cheeks heat up a little.
"I do not hate you, Darcy." It says.
"L-Lisa.." I say, saying my birth name.
"What..?" It asks.
"Y-you can call me L-Lisa.." I mumble.
"...Dar-...Lisa... I-... I love you, Lisa.." It says, blushing slightly.
I blush a little at the use of my birth name and smile.
"I love you too, my prince.." I say, resting head on its chest
We stay silent for a while, cuddling.
"I promise to protect you, princess... I'm here, and I'm not leaving you.." I hear Draconian whisper as I close my eyes.
"...." I don't respond, slowly falling asleep.
"Sleep well, my princess.." I hear it whisper again and feel it kiss my head as I fall back asleep.
